Acknowledging that Steelers lack “offensive explosiveness” but their top draft picks have been RB, TE in ‘21 and QB, WR in ‘22. If not from the top of the draft, where do they find explosiveness?

I believe the one free agent next year that they need to bring back is T. Edmunds, but with the money they have in the defense is it realistic?

I'm not sure how many people will change their minds on Edmunds in one year's time. He wasn't highly sough-after last spring. Not sure he will be in a few months. But yes, he'll make more than he is now.

Ray, just doing my due diligence. If you, personally, had your so-called druthers, and given the current staffing situation of my squad, would you be thinking stud CB, or stud DT, assuming both such studs are available? Please reply before April. Take care.

Both. But I'd go CB first because I still feel like Cam Heyward has some juice left, at least for one more year. They need a No. 1 CB. If they get that guy then they can re-sign Sutton and he's a solid No. 2. It would just make the entire defensive backfield better because players would slot in where they fit.

I think he's been really good for the most part. Obviously, he's better when TJ Watt plays, but you can say that about everyone on the defense.

I almost agree with your 13-7 prediction for the game Saturday; Raiders 13 Steelers 7.  Then in the final minutes, Pickett will throw a pass over the middle for DWatt.  The linebacker will deflect it and Najee will catch it and run down the sideline for a 14-13 Steeler win.

Can the Steelers contain Jacobs and Adams? They tend to get outplayed by pro bowl type offensive players.

The Raiders have some weapons. Jacobs leads the NFL in rushing and I'm guessing, with the weather, he'll see plenty of carries.
