Ray, Do we have the personnel and scheme to do to the NO Saints that the Cowboys did?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:54
No, they do not.

Is it safe to assume the officiating crew from last night will not be one of the groups selected to officiate the Super Bowl this year?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
I wouldn't have Bill Vinovich's crew do a PIAA championship game.

The officials were terrible last night. Tomlin talked about this early in the season. This is costing people jobs! With that said why did he challenge the spot? There was no way he was winning that
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
That seems to be a blind spot for him.

With 3 of the Chargers TD's being fortuitous, 2 on miss penalty calls and 1 on a lucky bounce after Haden's INT was broken up by Davis. I'm I wrong to think is they meet again in playoffs Steelers would win?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
Steelers might win, but I don't think it'd be easy.
Where to start
12:56
Is it time to add more penalties as reviewable?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
We might be getting to that point.

What can NFL do about officials? It’s a major problem. Both prime time games this week had major errors from missing helmet to helmet hits to missing false starts. Should coaches be allowed 3 challenges and every play be allowed to challenge if needed? Get younger and more athletic crews. This old guys can’t see or move. Bad product!

They have enough money to develop officials. Firing the incompetent ones isn't always easy. There is an official's union.

Does Al Riveron fire any of the officials from last night's debacle? It was the worst officiating I've ever seen in my life, and beyond egregious for an NFL game.
Ray Fittipaldo

I think he will.

Ok that's all the time I have this week. We'll do it again next week.
