He was a better citizen and player in the second half of the season, and he's cheap. He'll be back.

M. Butler is a free agent, I really do not think he will be back with the Pats.  Do you think he could be a replacement for Mitchell?
Ray Fittipaldo

Butler has been a CB, not a safety. Perhaps he'll play safety at some point, even with his next team, but you had better know he'll excel there if you sign him.

My point about Fichtner was the only evidence we have of him as a play caller in the nfl was in the pro bowl and it didn’t look so hot - do you disagree with that asses, ent?

It was the Pro Bowl for crying out loud. It's not a football game and you certainly shouldn't draw any conclusions from watching anything that happened.

What are your thoughts about drafting or signing a free agent NG? Hargrove is under-sized and more of a perpetrator at DT. Can we help shore up our ILB play with true a NG who can play base and move to DT in some Big Nickel formations.

Competition for Hargrave isn't a bad idea, but I don't invest a high pick in one.

Do you think Ramon Foster is good enough/young enough that he'll be offered an extension this year?
Ray Fittipaldo

He's getting older. Entering the final year of his contract. I'd be surprised if they offer him another contract.

Is LBell considered a leader in the Steelers locker room?  And if he is, do the Steelers really want a leader who talks about sitting out and retiring and how he was ready to go while others weren't for the JAX game?  Seems to me that the Steelers are better off using the money for a free agent or two on D while drafting a capable RB.  Improve D, improve leadership by subtraction.  Agree?

For the most part, they all respect Bell's preparation and his ability to produce in games. I think a lot of guys in there can do without his off-field antics, but that's probably true of Antonio Brown, too. They just decide to live with it because he's a future Hall of Famer.

Any chance the NFL gets the catch rule actually figured out? I felt Riveron during the regular season too often tried to reinvent the wheel with his decisions. He seemed to forget what the original call was and whether there was indisputable evodence to overturn it.

I would hope so, but they haven't figured it out in the past, and it's been a problem for years.

Thanks for all the questions this week. We'll do it again next week.
