Hi @Michaela, if there is specific information the university needs from you, they will ask you for it. However you can email it through to admissions study@leeds.ac.uk or call +44(0) 113 343 2336.

I would need to send a new personal from my tutor reference due to a previous error, how would i go about sending that during the clearing process ?
Amy Warriner

Hi @taief. Unfortunately we will be unable to discuss your clearing options with you without you knowing your grades, as we do not have access to these. If you miss out on your offer and need to ring to find a course through clearing, you will need to contact your school to get your results first. Best wishes, Amy.

Due to socail distancing, i wont be getting my grades at 8am i will get it at 1pm. Therefore if i decide to call up at 8:00 for clearning would it be problematic if i dont have access to my gres (as i wont know how iuch ive missed the offer by), or will the system have access to my grades. Thank you

Hi @Rehan, it is a popular course and in previous years it has not be available through clearing. This however does not mean it wont be there this year. I would recommend you have a look on our website on the 12th August at 5pm for a list of courses available.
Rehan

Accounting and finance is sometimes a popular course, do you reckon it will be available in clearing and has there been spaces on this course through clearing in previous years?
Sarah S

Hi @Taief - 'meeting the criteria' refers to having the necessary entry requirements of the degree course (Level 2 and Level 3) and any other course specific tests/assessments.  Hope that helps!

What do you mean by 'meeting the criteria' for cource availablity, thanks.

Hi @Grace. If you do not meet the course criteria, you may be eligible for the foundation course. You will have to ring via clearing to check if you can apply. Please call on 0370 126 0606 from 8am on results day

If grades aren't met for the course wanted in clearing, can you automatically be accepted on the foundation or would there need to be places available?
Chloe
3:44
Hi @Louis Eaton,  this does not mean it won't be available through clearing. Please check on the 12th of August at 5pm for our list. I would recommend you have a look and see if the course is there through clearing. Please call on 0370 126 0606 from 8am.

Hi Amy, Thankyou. Please could I have the telephone number of the Computer Science Department? Thanks again.

Hi @Guest, yes it is a competitive course. However this does not mean it won't be available through clearing. Please check on the 12th of August at 5pm we will have a list of courses available through clearing. I would recommend you have a look and see if the course is there through clearing. Please call on 0370 126 0606 from 8am.

Is Environment and Business a competitive course?
Amy Warriner
3:40
Hi @Guest. In theory, you should ring the clearing call centre number, which is 0370 126 0606 from 8am next Thursday. Call handlers have information from individual schools regarding places that are available and criteria for who to pass through to them e.g. grades achieved. For your own peace of mind, you may wish to have the Computer Science number handy just in case but you should be able to get the information and advice you need from the clearing number. The UCAS website will also list available places for you to check. Best wishes, Amy.

Hi, I have a conditional offer elsewhere for the BSc Computer Science degree but I emailed the Computer Science Dept and asked if I could apply to Leeds instead. I received an email stating that it is highly unlikely the computer science course will go into clearing but that if I get 3 A’s at A level, I could call in and apply. Do I ring the Clearing line or do I ring another number as this course will probably not be in Clearing? If so, what is that number? Thanks.

Hi @guest. You can only apply for once course at a time via clearing. You will then be able to apply for another if you do not meet your initial clearing choice.
Guest

can you try and apply through clearing for multiple courses?
Chloe

Hi @Michaela, unfortunately you are unable to do this, you can only go for the clearing list provided.

Best wishes

Could you possibly enquire about a course that's not on the clearing list to see if spaces are available ?
AvatarMatthew Elliott
3:39
Hi @Vicky. You will be able to call up via clearing and explain your circumstances to see if you would still be eligible for a place on the course. In this instance please call on 0370 126 0606 from 8am

if I get rejected on results day, will I be able to call up leeds, explaining my circumstances?
Sarah S
3:38
Hi @Elisha – If your results are lower than you expected we will be as flexible as possible and do all we can to support you.  If you haven’t quite met the conditions of your offer, we recommend you check UCAS Track to see if we have still been able to confirm your place.  Sometimes we are able to do so depending on how many spaces we have available and how well the other applicants have done. If we aren’t able to offer you place we may look and see if an alternative course with availability would be suitable for you to receive a change course offer (there’s no obligation to accept this place). Otherwise, you will automatically enter Clearing and be able to apply for another programme of study.
