Heavenly Father, thank you for this opportunity to connect around the world and to come into your presence. We recognise that there has been tragic loss and deep trauma, and do not seek to minimise the unparalleled human suffering on so many levels. Please show your compassion tangibly to all who mourn, all those who are unwell and all who have experienced financial hardship because of the effects of Covid. May we point towards you for the source of all comfort.
Thank you, Lord, for the creativity and connectedness that has flourished during these times of distress and uncertainty. Empower and encourage Joe and the team as they coordinate this online prayer hub over the coming hours. Bless them as they serve and grant them wisdom and discernment.
Lord, please draw Salvationists and friends together in unity; regardless of location, language, technical ability, eloquence, race, culture or other human difference. May our sole aim be to seek you, to honour you, to listen to you, and to act as you direct. Amen
