I have to hand it to the fans who are cheering at the game. Realizing that every win more than likely just prolongs the misery of mediocrity for years on end, it would be hard to be truly enthusiastic. A lot of these fans probably never went through the extended down years of the 80s. Maybe the enthusiasm comes from the half price beer deal that Rooney instituted to apologize for a losing season? Oh wait, maybe with Watt back, there is hope for a playoff run??
