Yes they do mash anywhere -- and let's face it, almost every venue in the SEC and ACC is hitter-friendly anyway, so teams that are built around mashing will usually travel well in that part of the country. As much as people talk about LNS, there are a ton of homer domes in those two leagues that don't really play much differently. But I'm with you -- regardless of where the Vols play, that offense is terrifying.

How far is Arizona from Hosting with the recent surge?
Kendall Rogers
1:29
Arizona has some work to do. U of A kind of reminds me of TCU from a couple of years ago where it won the Big 12 regular season title but went on the road to College Station for a regional because the RPI just wasn't up to par. Arizona is 32 -- so there's most definitely room to get into range the rest of the regular season.

Not complaining, just genuinely curious. With Mississippi State having more conference wins than Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia (including the head-to-head over Georgia) were they considered to crack back in to the top 25 this week? Their RPI is significantly lower than the other three, but their DSR is up to 20 now.

Yep, State was strongly considered this week, and it wasn't the RPI that kept them out, it was the series loss to Ole Miss last week. But they're knocking on the door, and this is a case where I think the DSR is a more accurate reflection of their resumé than the RPI.

All right gang, that's all for me today -- thanks for another great week of questions. See you next week!

Where do you see Sam Diego as an At Large Team?
Kendall Rogers
1:30
I think USD is in pretty solid shape right now with a strong league record and a solid RPI of 31. My only concern would be if the RPI ever drops into the 40s -- because those teams in the WCC just almost never get the benefit of the doubt.

Who in the Sun Belt do you believe has the best chance to make it to Omaha?
Kendall Rogers
1:33
I'm a big fan of pitching, and frankly, UL has pitched the best out of anyone in that league this year. With that said, Graham Brown, Zack Beach, Blake Barthol and that Coastal lineup is absolutely nasty. If Coastal pitches at all in the postseason, it most definitely can make a very deep run.

Biggest team this year that hasn’t lived up to the preseason hype?
Kendall Rogers
1:35
Easy -- LSU or Florida. Both of those teams have a pretty decent shot of missing the postseason, and both were preseason top six teams coming into the season.
Parker

That Christian Moore guy is pretty good, huh?
Kendall Rogers
1:36
Parker -- Man, he's on a damn heater isn't he?! He's just very locked in, and I'm actually a little surprised that Kentucky kept coming at him in the series finale. Just a very good well rounded player. I'm also curious to see how quick he moves at the next level when you see how fast guys like Trey Lipscomb are climbing.

How likely is a multi-bid big east? And how many bids are possible?
Kendall Rogers
1:39
Steve -- I would have the Big East as a two-bid league right now with UCONN and Creighton. Xavier is in that mix, too, thanks to RPI, but the overall resume will need to get better down the stretch.

Favorite flavor of sunflower seeds?
Kendall Rogers

Hatch Chile from Chinook Seedery. That's the best I've had by a mile.

Did A&M pitching come back down to earth/what you expected over the previous few weeks, or is Bama just that good at hitting?
Kendall Rogers
1:42
Grant -- good question. I actually think Alabama's offense is pretty salty. But I will say this -- Jim Schlossnagle will have a decision to make in the final spot in the rotation with Justin Lamkin. He's been the only weak link in that pitching staff the past couple of weeks, and they need him to get right. I'd prefer Cortez in that spot right now, but I think the Aggies really like him out of the pen.

Any chance DBU hosts? Any? RPI is 17..
Kendall Rogers
1:46
Joe -- good RPI, but to me, the resume is pretty light after three-straight series losses against good, but not amazing, competition. Doesn't mean DBU can't get back into contention at all, but it's behind several teams for me.
