Thanks

Am I done
Anthony Franco
3:24
As an elite hitter? I think so, but I expect him to be better than this and still a decent player
Angels fan
3:24
I am starting to get worried. What do we need
Anthony Franco
3:25
Middle infield help and maybe an extra reliever. I don't think the situation's dire or anything. They're hanging around despite some obvious flaws on the roster right now
3:26
Ward can't possibly keep playing this well, but he's convinced me he's an All-Star caliber player now. So that's another high-end player in a lineup full of them, more than offsets whatever regression might be coming from Marsh
3:27
They just can't rely on Andrew Velasquez or Luis Rengifo all year, and Fletcher's a question mark even when healthy
3:28
Go get Kyle Farmer or César Hernández to shore it up, and they should stick in the Wild Card race
Andrew Knizner
3:28
Is he the Cardinals' starting catcher of the future?  Will the Cardinals look to upgrade this winter?
Anthony Franco
3:29
It's a nice start, but his pre-2022 numbers point more towards a backup role. I think they see Ivan Herrera as the long-term guy

What do the Brewers do in CF? Cain looks like he can't hit anymore
Anthony Franco
3:29
Benintendi or Michael Taylor? I don't know what else you can really do on the trade market this year

Do you think the tigers will give Reese Olson a look at some point or at least bring him up to triple a?
Anthony Franco
3:30
Yeah he needs to go on the 40 after this season anyways. Double-A numbers are good, he'll probably get a look late in the season
3:31
I doubt he's a good enough strike-thrower to stick as a long-term starter, but I'd rather see him try than Elvin Rodríguez if you're out of contention anyways
Dodgers fan
3:31
I am getting a little nervous about our infield. Too many errors
Anthony Franco
3:32
I guess there's always stuff to nitpick but plenty of teams would kill for a 30-14 record and one of their biggest concerns being the infield fielding percentage

3:32
Why does Snitker let guys like Ozuna and Acuna get away with stopping and admiring and not running out their hits? Their lack of hustle and showboating is often misplaced and costs the team.
Anthony Franco
3:33
They won the World Series last year, and I doubt Snitker's changed his managing style much in the last six months
Dylan
3:33
Can the Padres convince Tatis to move to the OF? His defense last year was subpar and Kim is playing a really good SS defensively
Anthony Franco
3:33
Doubtful, he's been adamant about going back to short and how much he disliked the outfield
3:34
In a vacuum, I agree with you that I'd rather have him playing right field. But if Tatís really wants to play short, it's probably not irritating off the most important player in your franchise to push for some marginal defensive upgrades
JD Martinez
3:35
Im absolutely hitting the crap out of the ball right now. What kind of contract will I sign this coming offseason? And with who?
Anthony Franco
3:37
Yeah he sure is. I'd probably have him at like 3/60 right now. Tough to see four years at his age with no defensive value and he did just opt in to 1/20, but man that offensive production is loud
Duffy Scliff
3:37
In his last few starts, Pivetta has really turned things around. Should the Sox consider extending him?
Anthony Franco
3:38
Eh I don't see it. This is just kind of how it goes with him. He's got ridiculously good stuff that he struggles to consistently harness, and the results can go kind of all over the place
3:39
He's a decent pitcher on the whole, but he's controllable another two seasons beyond this. I wouldn't really be in a rush to commit far beyond that given how up-and-down his career has been

If I’m already playing for next year, order the following prospects based on their ability to make a contribution next year in an NL-only 12-team Dynesty league; Ezequiel Tovar; O’neil Cruz, Nick Gonzales, Corbin Carroll, Michael Harris, Robert Hassell; Bryson Stott?
Anthony Franco
3:40
This is a better question for someone who follows the minor leagues more closely. I pay attention to the draft and the majors but less so in between
I'd probably go Carroll, Stott, Cruz, Harris, Gonzales, Tovar, Hassell but I don't feel great about it

In an AL-only league, with unlimited IL, I have Baz, Canning, Manning, LeClerc, Patino, and Turnbull.  When =do you think I might get to see any of them this season?
Anthony Franco
3:41
Baz and Leclerc are on rehab, should be back within a couple weeks
The other guys, it's going to be a while. I still expect we'll see Manning and Patino at some point but probably post-ASG
3:43
Turnbull I doubt comes back this year. Canning, I'm still hopeful but man, it's getting tough to see a future there. I still feel like he could be a good mid-rotation guy on talent but it seems his body's just not holding up

Who is your current favorite to win each league?
Anthony Franco
3:43
Astros/Dodgers
SteveM
3:43
What do the Twins do about the Royce Lewis situation? He's wasted in Triple A...and now Miranda is starting to hit. Also does Baldelli need some kind of lesson in how to handle a bullpen? Taking a guy out after 7 innings of 2 hit ball and 80 total pitches is insane to me.
Anthony Franco
3:44
I think this course of action is alright. Get Lewis comfortable with the outfield in St. Paul and then bounce him around the diamond once he's ready
Just going to have to move all those guys around based on rest, but there's a ton of position player talent there

Will the tigers cut Robbie gross man when Riley Greene returns?
