I doubt Ohtani tests free agency, long way away but not every team would be open to him hitting and pitching. it really cuts his market to AL teams in contention, still will be interest but only from a handful of teams.

The velo dip and performance is something worth keeping an eye on. Skill loss can be alarming even in small samples ... I would give it some more time
