Where can parents park when they visit campus? Thank you.
Drew Watzke
10:27
Correct
Shannon
10:27
just to confirm, if you get resident reserved or garage parking, you do not need to move for games correct?

Where would I find the parking portal?
Drew Watzke
10:26
On campus students will be given first priority to purchase a garage permit
Carrie
10:26
Our daughter will be living at Founders, as I understand it, she'll either be offered resident reserve or Harmon Garage. For students living on campus, are they given first priority and then purchased permits for Harmon Garage fulfilled? Or will a purchased permit be given priority?
Drew Watzke
10:25
You can always purchase a general student or economy permit

10:25
What happens if the parking fills up closest to my dorm before I'm offered a parking space?
Drew Watzke
10:25
Unfortunately, there is no resident or garage parking near the Marshall. Lot 500 is very close and does not have to move for games.
Marion
10:25
What student garage or resident parking (not green/general where a vehicle has to move for games) is closest to The Marshall?
Drew Watzke
10:24
Lot 500!
Margaret Newton
10:24
Hi Drew, what lots will students (green permits) need to move their cars to for games? Thanks
Drew Watzke
10:23
Starting the 14th, you (or someone else) can sign in to your parking portal account and see what permits are available to you if you cannot access email.

I am currently a camp counselor and do not get great reception with cell or Wi-Fi. I know offers begin the 14th, but am concerned that I will not see it in time. Are there other ways, aside from receiving the email in my Outlook, for my parents to purchase my parking pass for me? I will be living in Gregson and want to get a resident reserved space.
I signed my housing contract early; Fall of 2024.

General student (green) and Economy (orange)

My daughter is living off campus for the first time and applied for Harmon Garage (was put on the waitlist) and was told it was unlikely she would get a permit there. What are her other on campus parking options?
Drew Watzke
10:20
Prices are for both semesters
Sydney
10:20
Are those prices per year or by semester?
Drew Watzke
10:20
If Lot 500 fills before a game, there are public lots by Baum-Walker Stadium that students can park in.
Holly
10:20
Does Lot 500 have enough parking to accommodate all green pass holders moving there for games or will they possibly have to park elsewhere?
Drew Watzke
10:19
Garland and Stadium will only be offered to residents near them. The Harmon garage has more space, so anyone can apply for a Harmon garage permit.
Larry
10:19
If student is not concerned about location of garage in relation to their doom, is there an option to expand the garage option to include any available after resident allocation?
Drew Watzke
10:18
You will have 48 hours once the email is sent to sign in and purchase the permit being offered
Jenny
10:18
The emails that begin to be sent out on Monday- will the offer be in them? Or will it assign a time to log in to see the offer? Wondering if we need to be constantly checking email so as not to miss the offer?
Drew Watzke
10:17
Resident will let you park in a specific area of campus, not a specific space
Sydney
10:17
Is reserved parking the same spot each time or just a reserved area within a lot?
Drew Watzke
10:17
Green permits are available to everyone, you do not need an offer to purchase one. We would recommend applying for a Harmon garage permit now. If you purchase a green permit and get offered a Harmon permit later, you can always upgrade and we'll charge the difference
Anna
10:17
Do you have to apply for a garage permit before offers are sent out, or will off campus students most likely be offered a green lot and then they can apply for a garage permit if one comes available? Just trying to better understand.
Drew Watzke
10:15
She will not, because we do not control parking at the Marshall. She'll be eligible to buy a student or economy permit starting July 28 if she would like
Michael
10:15
My daughter will be a freshman at The Marshall this fall. Will she get the email offers that begin on July 14th or is it done differently.  Thanks
Drew Watzke
10:14
Yes, a student permit can park in any green lot.
Green lots must be vacated before football and basketball games
R Tyler
10:14
For a sophomore living off campus, do you recommend buying a green lot parking pass?
If purchase green lot, does this mean they can park in any green lot?
Drew Watzke
10:13
General student or economy permits. Available July 28

You can also apply for a Harmon garage permit on our website
Tammy
10:13
What is the process for a parking permit for a commuter student?
Drew Watzke
10:12
Prices:

Student garage - $891
Resident - $781
Student (general) - $120
Economy - $25
Drew Watzke
10:12
We do not control parking at the Marshall. But, you can purchase a general student permit starting July 28 which would allow you to park in 320.
Marion
10:12
How is parking at The Marshall allocated?

Are there generally enough spaces for student residents?

If there are not enough spaces for residents, how can a student select parking in lot 320, which is near The Marshall?
Drew Watzke
10:11
We will send a limited number of Stadium garage permit offers to Walton residents
Shannon
10:11
If my child is in Walton, there is the garage right there, Stadium Drive Garage, I think, is that available for to buy a pass for parking
