The Machado to ChiSox rumors seem to be a fantasy, but for arguments sake: could you see ChiSox offering a package and then Machado actually accepting a 8 year 250 mill extension? or something similar?

I think Miller's a little risky for a team like the M's.  They need to spend assets on more importnat needs and hard to say what Miller's going to do.

Motter's risky too, of course, but unless I missed something that just happened or something, they already *have* him.

I don't think so.  He's not bad at *recognizing* pitches but I think he's always going to count on making bank on fastballs.

Though most fantasy rules aren't really equipped to deal with a player like Ohtani.

If I'm the Angels, I either deal for Starlin from the Marlins for 2B and sign Moustakas at 3B, or I trade for Cesar Hernandez to play 2B...and trade for Machado.  Hahahah.  No. I'm drunk.

ZiPS actually has him about league-average as a starter.
Outside of ZiPS, he fascinates me.

Obviously, Triggs isn't going to blow you away with fastballs, but he has all this stuff that just moves and it's like he's throwing bowling balls there sometimes.
