Hi Madison- You can check online if your syllabus is posted: https://summer.yale.edu/yss-2024-course-syllabi but you may receive an updated one on the first day of class. Unless the syllabus specifically says to do pre-work, you can expect all classes start on the first day of class.

New Haven is a city. We feel that it is safe for students. For students who are on campus, there will be an orientation. Yale Public Safety will give some tips about how to stay safe and enjoy the city! You can always request a Yale Security walking escort around campus if you prefer.

Yes, students under 18 are allowed to go on trips with our residential staff.  If it is not a YSS trip, we need written permission from your parent or guardian to be away overnight.
