Chavez will be the Pippen to Floyd's Jordan

Then who is Rodman?

7:30
Braves? Phillies are clearly the worst. Who gives up 5 runs to the Reds in an inning?

Arrieta could turn back into the pumpkin he was in Baltimore
Owen Watson
7:31
We could argue Arrieta was a pumpkin because of Baltimore

Re: cubs weaknesses: other than Heyward - our outfield defense is pretty meh, no?
Owen Watson
7:33
Yes, that too. Schwarber is going to be an adventure in left
Which should be really fun.

Rickard 2/2 with a 2b. Huge pickup by Baltimore in my view. All the kid does is hit.

I am interested to see how this Hyun Soo Kim saga unfolds.

Rodman is Venditte. Dude is messed up.
Owen Watson
7:34
I consider it a high honor getting to see that dude pitch live.
So strange and awesome
George Harrison
7:35
What would you say the Astros biggest weakness is?
Owen Watson
7:36
Correa and Altuve are obviously awesome, but what does Valbuena do this year? Power first half/contact second, and neither was very productive. First base is a pretty big question mark too. I'm not sure I buy that Fister is going to be passable this year, either.
Dave
7:37
So, if Trout merely plays as an average player from now until he meets the 10 year service time requirement, does he make the HOF? I think he's a shoe in for a catastrophic injury, but if he just plays merely ok, he wouldn't make it.
Owen Watson
7:38
This would basically be Griffey Jr.'s career trajectory. And why is he a shoe-in for a catastrophic injury?
2014-2015 Royals
7:38
Are you more Jeff Sullivan when it comes to us or Dave Cameron?
Owen Watson
7:39
You're asking an A's fan how he feels about the Royals -- I tend to try to stay out of it, acknowledge that there is some weird mojo going on with them, and not put my foot in my mouth.
I continue to believe that Cleveland has the makings of a better team, but I've been wrong about that before in that division.

Arrieta going on 400 non pumpkin innings....
Bork
7:39
Schwarber in left or Trumbo in right? Which will be the greatest for the fan?
Owen Watson
7:40
I love this question. I am going to take Schwarber because he's likely to get more chances, and he'll juxtapose any terrible defense with prime bomb-hitting.
Hotep Votto
7:40
Rather watch Smyly than Kershaw. Am I a bad person?
Owen Watson
7:41
I don't think so! Upside is interesting, while consistent excellence has a terrible way of becoming boring for some reason.
7:42
Not that it's any less excellent, we just get used to it.
Kiermaier!
7:43
Well Bautista has had a tough two games on defense.
Who_Is_Zorbist?

Standing ovation for Rickard. Crowd chanting his name in 3rd at bat.
Owen Watson
7:43
Did they boo Kim when he was announced?
Greg
7:43
The back end of our rotation could turn into a dumpster fire in a hurry(Astros). LMJ injury is a bigger deal than anticipated and Fister continues to suck.
Owen Watson
7:44
That McCullers injury makes me sad.

think Dave means shoe-in if he were to suffer one...

Vin Scully reminds us, last year Kershaw had 301 strikeouts, 42 walks. Don't need any advanced metrics to appreciate his greatness (but those are so much fun too).

I realize that every era has amazing players, but it does seem like we are really lucky to be baseball fans right now.
