Off-field concerns?  Another AB. Typical.
Adam Bittner
8:56
Folks. AB is a once in a generation kind of crazy. Let's maybe hold the horses a *little* bit.
MD

Our ability to take WR is over-rated.  Coates and Washington are recent high round busts.  JuJu and Martavis were 2 year wonders that crashed back to earth.

Seems most of the "off-field" Pickens questions actually stem from some on-field scraps he had at Georgia. An ejection for throwing some hands as a freshman. A flag for squirting a Tennessee opponent with a water bottle.
Also some suggestions he did not interview well at the combine.
9:01
So, not great. But also not throwing furniture off of balconies.
Tom

Looks like this is a boom/bust type of draft for us.

I'm unaware of these 'off-field' issues...  can someone please say we're talking about overdue library books, or maybe parking tickets?  Please?

See above Dubble

I guess I’ll come play d line

Flores will hopefully bring some discipline that Tomlin lacks. Good cop bad cop??  LOVE Golic’s post.

Pickens is a great pick....as long as tomlin can manage his maturity issues, he's gonna be a monster

LOL - "once in a generation kind of crazy" - you just made me shoot bourbon out of my nose!  (which hurts a lot - but was worth it!)  =)

Troy Andersen (Montana State LB) goes to ATL at 58. Sorry, falling a bit behind on picks whilst doing some research for you all.

By no stretch of the imagination could either of the Steelers picks could be called a reach.
Paul

Sky Moore NFL Draft Rating: 6.24; Pickens 6.23. But Pickens can probably block. He's almost 6.4
Drop the Mike
9:03
Without his injury Pickens is a top 20 pick, that scouting report aside
MD
9:03
Pickens never had big numbers, but also didn’t have a great QB.
Adam Bittner

The Zierlein comparison to Josh Reynolds is my primary concern at this point. Has never posted a PFF grade over 68.9 in five seasons.

Dibble07, what kind of bourbon?
Rude Rob

"But also not throwing furniture off of balconies." Just wait until he signs his second contract.
Sal

I understand receiver with the overpaying for second contracts, they are one and done.  But just because Pickett went to Pitt doesn’t make him Marino, especially after only 1 stellar year.  I hope he succeeds.

Tuitt must be back if they are ignoring the D line like this. Nothing in free agency and now goinin into the 3rd.

Wild Turkey 101 (i.e. the 'only' bourbon) /nod

Shocked that there is drinking and chatting going on in this establishment.

For the Nakobe Dean advocates here, you might be interested to learn that Lance Zierlein's top NFL comp for him is ... Devin Bush.
So...

I thought Alec Pierce would have been a better pick then Pickens, so we’ll see

Oh wow -- you've got the rocket fuel there!  (And I sure hope that Guest is right about Tuitt!

Could  DT Jones make it to us in the 3rd?
Adam Bittner

Long way to go. 24 picks.

drinking Angels Envy right now

FYI: Jones is No. 3 on ESPN's best available. So it's likely now or never to move up to get him.
Dave
9:11
Adam I trust your sober, so lets get back on track who should the Steelers target in the 3rd?
Adam Bittner
9:14
Bernhard Raimann is still there. He's been mocked to the Steelers as high as the first. Winfrey from Oklahoma is No. 9 on ESPN's board. Not inconceivable that he could be there. Leo Chenal from Wisconsin was mocked to the Steelers for the third round today. He's a run-stuffing who could help, but he's not the most athletic. And I mentioned Daniel Faalele earlier. He's huge and could be a great run blocker for Najee.

I'd cry tears of joy if the Steelers found a way to move up to get Jones - I think he'd be a perfect addition

Alright no longer a guest. Like bourbon and feel Tuitt is back because they are ignoring D line
