When Poche isn't in the game we should all be asking "Where's Poche?"
stever20
11:06
how crazy was that Juan Soto hit last night- the 3rd biggest jump in win probability in a deciding playoff game ever.

Son-in-law is interesting phrasing -- do people universally love their sons-in-law?
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:06
INcluding after he got thrown out?
R
11:07
Incorporate remorse+ - on a serious note, if he seems to have grown up as every 20 something needs to good for him
Ben Clemens
11:07
I mean obviously my mother in law loves me because I'm so great.
Belli Flop

Just a beautiful fastball.

I think it depends on the seriousness of the crime. I think forgiveness for a drunken scuffle without any serious health consequences isn't one of the hardest ones.

I bet the traditional broadcast said that nick anderson struck out the side even though there were 4 ab's
AvatarDan Szymborski

The A's were swinging THROUGH Anderson's stuff all inning ineffectively

x[i] -> x[i + 1] is proving my Central Chris Davis theory
Ben Clemens

The Statcast broadcast said that in the first inning.

Dan do you fight with zips when you drink?
Ben Clemens
11:08
I don't actually know which one is correct
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:08
I try not to fight with ZiPS, I don't want o delete it in rage to win a fight
stever20

Nats win probability went up from 23.9% to 82.7%  Almost 60%

Lol Petriello just tweeted at me during the game about Anderson.
We're brothers in arms
Furious George
11:10
But he could have seriously hurt the guy. He tried to. Should we focus on outcome and ignore intent?
R

Wouldn’t zips just delete you? You are merely the body zips communicates it’s all knowingness with

"n 2010, he was charged with drunken driving. In 2011, during an early-morning, alcohol-fueled altercation, he struck a man in the head with a bat and was charged with second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, a felony. Anderson contends he was coming to the aid of a friend during a fight involving several people. He said he was confronting someone who had a knife and swung the bat while falling backward; he couldn't claim self-defense in court because he didn't live at the address."
11:11
If true -- and I haven't seen anything that varied from his description of events -- it's not a context in which it's the hardest thing to forgive after a decade of being a good citizen.

Petriello just tweeted a waving goodbye emoji.

I was listening to Nick Bostrom on Rogan talking about Simulation Theory today, and now I'm wondering...am I just a product of a ZiPS projection?
Ben Clemens
11:11
I think that's actually a waving hello emoji
As in, hey, I see you there.
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:11
Hello and goodbye are the SAME WAVE
Ben Clemens

I'm a real believer in simulation theory.
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:12
I buy it as a real possibility too.
Ben Clemens
11:12
I'm a believer in the weak form.
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:12
If it's *ever* possible to simulate the universe, it's more likely we're in the simulation than the real one.
Ben Clemens
11:12
Yeah that one
Which is totally different than saying that it's likely we're in a simulation
hildebeast21
11:12
you don't have different waves for hello and good bye? you should work on that.
Russ

It's like "aloha"
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:12
Not that I *know* I'm in a simulation because I don't have evidence sufficient for that argument.

11:13
how far in advance are teams required to announce their starters before games in the postseason?
AvatarDan Szymborski
11:13
I'm not sure of any requirement
