Hi Will, I submit my application yesterday. My status is GRE and english proficiency needed. I took GRE on 11.12, and I send the scores to Upenn after I finish my exam, and I have my undergrad in the US. Will I be considered as first round?

Linghao, that's fine. It can take up to 72 hours for the scores to be linked, at minimum. In addition, we'd need to receive your letters of recommendation as well. I can't say at this point, but you'll receive notification early next week.

Linghao, once we have reviewed your application and all of the materials, you, and all others that have their applications ready for early review, will have it marked on their checklist. Again, I can't tell you yes or no right now.

Guest, no. You need to do that, but we also have to have received the required letters of recommendation as well as your test scores if you did not self-report them on your application.

Kartik, at this point, you'd only need to have IELTS official scores mailed, if you took that exam. Otherwise, if you are admitted and choose to attend, you'd need to have your official transcripts mailed to us.

Thanks Mr Fenton. If someone applies to two programs, does one application affect the chances of the other? I assume early decision would be a binding agreement for both degrees if accepted to both?

Susan, the only way this would potentially affect the opportunity would be if they are very similar programs, say CIS and MCIT.

Xingjian, we do consider applications to be final upon submission. If you haven't self-reported scores on the application, we can't review it until we get the scores. If you've already reported scores, then it is up to the department if they wish to consider future scores if they've already selected your application for review.
