Hello Will. I have just submitted my application for the Data Science program. The GRE and English Proficiency sections show a "Needed" status and Application Status is currently "Materials Needed". My recommenders have uploaded their recommendations, and I self reported the scores for GRE and TOEFL. Will my application be considered for the early deadline?

Vibhu, the matching of test scores is not instantaneous. It can take up to 72 hours at minimum for them to be matched. However, if you self-reported the scores and/or they're from an exam taken before the early deadline today, then most likely. I can't say for certain without reviewing all of your materials right not to know if we have everything.

That's fine. You would add all of the scores on the application page. You should see on the page that there's a button that says "add another TOEFL test" under the areas to enter the scores.

Yes, we do need to receive the official scores for all of the test that you want us to consider.

Hi Will, my SOP is slightly bigger than 2 pages. Is the 2 page limit strict, as in should I shrink it to make it 2 pages or 2.5 is acceptable?

Guest, the limit is a recommendation, not a requirement. If you believe the best one is 2.5 pages long, that is up to you.

Hello, which type of transcript should I upload in the application?
I have a pdf download from my University's information system website with gpa, courses, and grades.
I also have a printed copy of an official digital transcript that I ordered to myself, but it has "PRINTED COPY" watermark all over.
Please advise, thank you.

If one of them lists your degree awarded, and the other does not, you should use the one that lists the degree awarded.

Yuebai, yes it would be ok. We do ask that you submit the official scores after you apply if you have not done so before you apply.
