will physician offices be able to administer vaccines to employees in the future.
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:30
At this time the vaccines are not available in our physician offices. As more vaccines are released and storage requirements change that will be updated. We don't yet have information on some of the other vaccines that are being released.

I am very upset in hearing that premedication (aleve or Tylenol) may have an effect on the efficacy of the vaccination. I definitely took these medications before and after the vaccination. I don't suppose there is any recommendation to "re--do" the vaccination.?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:31
There are  no recommendations at this time for your situation

If you have an egg allergy, will there be a problem with taking the vaccine What is the vaccine made from?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:31
The vaccine was not produced with any egg products so an egg allergy is not a contraindication.

Einstein employees could either register to set-up an appointment to receive the vaccine or decline. I was told that I can go back in and switch my answer to receive the vaccine, but I haven't. Will there be a time when this switch option will no longer be available or will be it always be available?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:33
At this time there is no plans of removing the option for getting vaccinated. You can still go in and change your mind whenever you'd like to.

What is the point of receiving the vaccine if there are still open ended studies that do not confirm how long the vaccine lasts, if you are a carrier and may spread to someone else without the vaccine, and if there is still testing occurring if the vaccine fights against the new variants of the virus?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:34
We know the vaccine prevents most COVID infections and reduces the severity of infections if they occur. We do not know how long but time will tell.

Do you recommend taking Vit C, Vit D and Zinc till fully vaccinated/
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:34
The available information on taking these supplements is not clear. The NIH has not recommended taking these supplements routinely for COVID 19.

Einstein Healthcare Network

The J&J Vaccine will it only be one dose administered?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:36
The J&J vaccine is being studied as both a single and 2 dose regimen. If the single dose regimen is provided Emergency Use Authorization that will be how it's administered. We do not yet know if we will receive that vaccine and if so, when.

Estimated Time? "Yes we are working on a process to allow household members of our staff to get vaccinated. The household members will still need to meet the other eligibility criteria set by the state or city. More information will be released when that program is finalized."

Does your blood type play a part in how severe a case of Covid you would get or the side effects from the vaccine?
Einstein Healthcare Network
2:38
There was some information that blood type may be correlated with severity of illness but there has not been anything that I have seen that correlates with side effects from the vaccine.

Einstein Healthcare Network

During the first vaccine chat, we spoke a lot about the PCR test being the only way to determine a "true positive" for those who had received the vaccine (in that the antibody test results will be positive for both those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered from COVID infection). The Red Cross also has a new result for their antibody test: Inconsistent. This seems to be able to delineate those who have been vaccinated from those who have recovered from COVID infection. What are your thoughts on how this will impact policy in the future?

We have to wait for more data and information before we can answer this question
