I love watching Javier Baez play, but people thinking he's a superstar with the bat are out of their minds. The guy has a major contact problem. He ran a .314 OBP with 108 K's and 15 BB's last season. He has a 7:1 K to BB ratio. That is not good.

It's closer than it used to be thanks to the last two years, but again, it's very dangerous to draw conclusions from a year or two of split data.
Especially when you have actually data against actual pitches, a better idea than relying on extremely noisy stats.
