I've seen it more in Pittsburgh over the last 5 years.   Not entirely sure about the deep midwest.  I prefer them in poutine vs. fried. Except the State St Brats in Madison. The dressing/dipping sauce they give out with the curds is amazing.

Why are the Indians WS odds so high? 4% higher than any other AL team, but they have arguably the worst position players of any AL team, middle of the pack starters depending on Bauer's usage, and the worst bullpen.

Raw cheese curds & gravy on top of fries. It's delicious and originated in Quebec. Wisconsin is famous for their cheese curds, but those are typically fried like mozzarella sticks.

I think the format we have works pretty well. You don't guarantee the best team wins but you wouldn't with two more games either.

I don't have a great answer for that other than originators (Tango?) didn't remove them.  We don't remove IBB for a lot of metrics.
