He significantly changed his batted ball mix. I want him to play more than Pablo down the stretch so we can get a good look. Rather see more of him now to see if it's real than Arroyo even, Arroyo seems like another panik/duffy and this team needs a power threat.

So, I know the A's are required to be frugal, but I recently read a fan post justifying the Josh Donaldson trade as they would have likely been unable to afford the 20+ million a season for his arbitration years.  Is Oakland really that cheap that they wouldn't be willing to pay 20 million for Donaldson's MVP years?

Personal theory: most likely destination for Moustakas is LAA.  He's from there, they have money to spend, a need at the position, and a need for star-level talent to complement Trout/Simmons.
