Should I drop Mitch Keller for Adrian Houser?
Brad Johnson
12:38
Probably. I know there's hype behind Keller, but I think he's a reliever.

Do you prefer India or Lowe at 2B? I've got both and have trade offers (fair ones) for both, but which would you keep?
Brad Johnson
12:39
Personally, I'm a huge believer in India. The reports I get tend to be scattered - I get really good inside info on a few guys, but mostly I'm working off FanGraphs and Savant.
India is one of those guys that I have detailed reports on. So I feel confident liking him for even more ceiling since insiders believe too.
You should opt for Lowe if you need to maximize HR.
12:40
They're the same value bucket for me even though I like India more in an either-or scenario.

Who do you like more in a 20-team Dynasty, Erick Fedde or Kolby Allard?
Brad Johnson
12:41
Fedde, 100%. By stats, I'd say they're both nobodies. But I've had a couple sources tell me Fedde's turned a corner.

thought on mcCutchen as a rebound candidate this year?
Brad Johnson
12:41
Oh yea, I like Cutch for however long he holds up as DH
Hopefully they rarely ask him to play the field, his legs just aren't durable anymore.

should I worry about Torkelson’s no hits, 6 Ks in 8 at bats or be patient? I was thinking of picking up Dalbec or Vaughn instead
Brad Johnson
12:41
I would make those particular swaps. Either of them tbh.
12:42
Speaking to other Tork managers, you should be patient if your options aren't Dalbec/Vaughn quality.
Vaughn's debut is roughly what I expect from Torkelson

Julio Rodriguez vs Seiya Suzuki in dynasty?
Brad Johnson
12:43
I think it has to be JRod. The caveat is Suzuki's a better play this year.
B Gardner
12:43
Joey Votto or Brandon Belt at 1st Base ?
Brad Johnson
12:43
I'd go for Votto. Belt's knee is a mess. It's bone-on-bone so we know he'll miss time.
He's great when healthy though. Made a key adjustment a decade too late to be a HOFer.

Weekly lineup lock tonight, put in Gore over Steckenrider or Warren?
Brad Johnson
12:44
Eh, I wouldn't.
Maybe over Steck if you're really craving 5 IP

12:44
Nate Lowe, Connor Joe, Darin Ruf, Kiriloff at 1b? 16 team h2h pts
Brad Johnson
12:46
Those are solid options for 16-team. I'd go Ruf, Kirilloff, Lowe, Joe. Kirilloff has the highest ceiling, second-best median, and worst floor.

I'm stashing Gore, Oneil Cruz, and Rutschman on a 25 man roster. Should I continue to hold those 3 or should I try to flip one at this point?
Brad Johnson
12:46
If you can turn one into a good MLBer, you probably should. I have a roster or two suffering from a similar clog of MLB-caliber minor leaguers.
It's a bitter pill to swallow.
12:47
I made a heroic (read, extremely lucky) choice to cut Strasburg rather than Josh Lowe prior to the season in one league. Nearly chose wrong. Also had to cut Riley Greene in that one. My soul still weeps.

Do you think Randall Grichuk is going to have a career fantasy year in Colorado?
Brad Johnson
12:48
Honestly, I bet the final line looks extremely Grichukian.
Like .245/.300/.470

Would Cristian Javier be a good SP if given the chance?
Brad Johnson
12:49
"Good" is such a loose term
I think he's replacement level for 12-team mixed. A streamer, basically, who benefits from a lot of run support.
In MLB terms, yes, he's good. But I doubt many of you are playing 30-team dynasty :)

Best chance to hang onto and flourish in the closer role this year:. Floro, Diekman, Bard, Duran, Trivino.
Brad Johnson
12:50
Oof
Floro and Duran are the only ones with "flourish" in their plausible outcomes.
