Brad Johnson

When you have the option of putting off keeper decisions, it's best to do so.
JDom
1:38
Am I for real?
Brad Johnson
1:38
Yea, sure. Like, I don't think he's a superstar, but he is a pretty neat player. Toolsy, physical, should do the power/speed thing for at least a few years.
Jaxon
1:39
Jarren Duran?? Is the breakout for real?
Brad Johnson
1:39
Uhhh, that depends on how you're interpreting it.
1:40
The way I see it, yes, he's a good player. He'll run a bunch. He'll hit for some power.
I'd expect closer to a .250/.310/.420 line going forward
There's room for him to improve on that.
Astros concerns
1:41
Hey Brad. Thanks for another chat! ROS roto who you like in order: Jon Gray, Gavin Williams, C. Schmidt, K. Crawford, G. Canning, T. Bradley, J. Means
Brad Johnson
1:41
Swap Bradley and Kutter, and you probably have it.
1:42
Gray isn't the most exciting, but he gets a big boy workload. Williams is the most talented right now, but he might be carefully managed. The others are in the risky/usable bucket.
Astros concerns
1:42
In Dynasty, are you steering clever of Rays SP? I mean Shane, Shane, Jeff and Drew all having issues can't just be coincidence.
Brad Johnson
1:42
No, not really. But I might put in a couple calls when the season is over. See if I can get some scuttlebutt.
Acuna
1:43
Braves have 25 games left, Do you think Acuna can hit 40 HR and score 140 Runs? Currently has 32 HR 123 R
Actually there’s 26 games left
Brad Johnson
1:43
For sure doable
B'ryce Hammer
1:44
Weep for this man who traded Olson for Verlander, and Trea Turner for Vladdy, before losing Franco to Stupid Criminal Shit... Still, I'm in the playoffs anyways.
Brad Johnson
1:44
Best of luck. Can't win 'em all.
Train
1:44
I have Estevez and Greg Santos dirt cheap as closers right now (AL only, auction) I may look to grab a third one prior to end of season. Who would be a better option: Carlos hernandez, or Brash. Hernandez I could see getting more saves with decent K stuff but Brash has a big arm.
Brad Johnson
1:44
Hernandez has a much better opportunity. Brash might be a top 10 RP right now. Which is a shame since Andres Munoz might be THE top RP.
1:45
Sooo, it's just a matter of which you prefer, opportunity or talent.
Jaxon
1:45
Julio Urias? Is he going to be gone for fantasy this year?
Brad Johnson
1:46
This is late breaking news sooooo, yes? I'd assume so, pending more information.
Shamus
1:46
which 1st sacker for next year…. Keeper …..C Walker, Casas, Vinnie P?
Brad Johnson
1:47
That's a tough call. Vinnie looked like he was just getting his feet under him when he went down. Casas is giving me early Olson vibes. I think I'd keep him.
1:48
I'm assuming you'll be keeping those guys for years and years. If that's not the case, Walker probably projects to be slightly better in 2024.
But he looks like one of those late bloomer, early fader types to me.
Lineup call
1:48
Clay Holmes or Aroldis Chapman ros for saves only league.
Brad Johnson
1:48
Holmes imo
1:49
Chapman seems to be in one of his no-command slumps
MVP
1:49
If you had a vote for NL MVP who would you pick?
Brad Johnson
1:49
Acuna
1b Dynasty
1:50
Vladdy or Tork?
Brad Johnson
1:50
Vladdy, awesome buy low opportunity
Dynasty league SP
1:50
In a deep keeper league, I can keep a couple pitchers who are on the IL.  Which pitchers will have the most future value:   Walker Buehler, Nick Lodolo, Shane McClanahan, or Shane Baz.  Your comments about Walker Buehler worried me.
Brad Johnson
1:51
I like Buehler least of that group, with the caveat that I still like him decently. I just view him as more of a flier than a lock these days.
Edwin Diaz
1:51
Am I top 100 player entering next season?
Brad Johnson
1:51
Yes
NL Cy Young
1:51
If you had a vote for NL Cy Young, who would you pick?
Brad Johnson
1:51
Wheeler
