Brad Johnson
12:38
Harrison and Leiter aren't coming
Ryan
12:38
Does gunnar get called up soon?  Is rookie eligibility 130 at bats?
Brad Johnson
12:39
I really don't think he'll be called up this year.
They're so process-focused in Baltimore. If they were willing to take these kinds of chances, they would have added a few bad-contract veterans at the deadline.
12:40
and yes, 130 ABs
Elbert
12:40
Can Cody Morris and Brayan Bello get regular rotation spots this season?
Brad Johnson
12:41
Morris isn't on my radar to grab a spot, though I suppose I shouldn't rule it out. He's still facing 10-13 batters per game.
Bello seems like he should get a real shot
Corbin Carroll
12:41
When am I playing in Arizona?
Brad Johnson
12:41
Roughly April 15, 2023
12:42
If they were going to leave the door open for a 2022 promotion, he would have been bumped to Triple-A much earlier in the calendar
They left him in Double-A long enough to feel demotivated and then get over it.
(which, not a great choice imo)

12:42
Is Snell someone to own down the stretch? I think I can pry him away from a last place team that isn't engaged
Brad Johnson
12:43
For sure. He's been incredible since the start of July, one Coors Field start notwithstanding
And he was basically the top pitcher down the stretch last season.
12:44
The last calendar year, he has 111 innings, 151 K, a 3.24 ERA, and a 1.08 WHIP.
12:46
And remember, he had a 6.19 ERA on June 16 so imagine how good the other appearances have been
Jring
12:46
I'm out of contention this season and amassing arms that might prove to be valuable keepers (2 pitchers and 2 hitters) in a  category league. How would I go about quantifying the value of these arms at their corresponding round slots?
deGrom - 3rd / GrayRod - 20th / Dustin May - 21th / Montas 10th
Subsequently - any recommendations for under the radar arms that might be unrostered now but worth a 20th round keep next year?
Brad Johnson
12:46
I can't top GRod or May
12:47
Typically, I advise people to ignore the attached round and just decide based on pitcher quality
12:48
Surprisingly, a 3rd round pick really isn't a ton more valuable than a 10th
As I mentioned with the other keeper question I fielded, I'd hold off doing too much with that decision until after the season. And ideally a couple weeks before the deadline.
Sweet Sassy Molassey
12:49
Hi Brad, do you like Walsh or Vogelbach ROS and Civale or Kikuchi ROS? Thanks.
Brad Johnson
12:50
I'm still stubbornly starting Walsh where I have him. Vogey's a little limited fantasy stat wise. Especially if it isn't an OBP league which I assume you would have mentioned.
I'd lean Civale, but both of those pitchers are more likely to hurt than help.
Marcus
12:50
I have to drop 1 of Taj Bradley, Daniel Espino or Eury Perez in a dynasty league. Who would you drop?
Brad Johnson
12:50
Oof, tough break
12:52
I think I'd drop Taj personally. He also happens to be closest to Majors. Depending on your league depth, maybe you could get Eury back? He's got awhile to go developmentally, though I also like him the most of the three.
I like all three a lot fwiw
Vinnie Barbarino
12:52
I am still engaged, and Zilla is not getting Snell.
Brad Johnson
12:52
lol
Ryan
12:52
Is Carroll a top 50 pick in drafts next year?
Brad Johnson
12:52
That's... possible.
12:53
Yes, I think so. Just thinking back to Witt and where JRod went once it was clear he was making the club.
Somewhere around pick 40
D. Mays
12:54
What do expect? He’s available, I have the most fab $$ & highest priority, but I need a legitimate boost to my SP categories especially K’s, will he help or should I continue streaming it’s only spot I have available?
Brad Johnson
12:54
I think I'd take the shot on him over the streaming pool
He looked so good last year, potential top 10 pitcher
Expect very short starts. Like 18 batters.
