Framing is just something I'm terrible at. I have folders of art now that will likely never be framed

I have done loans to big and small institutions, but I woudnt send high dollar pieces to anyone other than a pretty serious museum with really good insurance guarantees.

I make them add me to their rider. If they can't do that, no art.

How do you guys protect your collection? I know we can all put it in portfolios and frames? Does anyone use or recommend insurance or what do you look for in a safe?

Best insurance I bought was a giant fireproof safe. Love it. Beyond that, basic insurance with CIA (which is unfortunately, quite pricey). If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the safe.

I'm with Benno, I love to get the prelims for my pieces, commissions or published. He even hooked me up with a Stelfreeze prelim to a page I managed to get. Love them both and better together.

They could be, but I wouldn't count on it. Or, at least, I wouldn't pay much for them. Novelties, at best.

Felix, I know people on the CGC board were asking you about disabling sold pages on the site. Does the new one address that, or still up in the air? I've not spent enough time there to discover that answer.

THe HP Office Jet 7740 is not bad as an all in one. Prints and scans 11x17 wirelessly up to 1200 dpi.
