@Felix I’ve got both covers of WWDE on my pull list! Can’t wait!
Rudra
11:29
@Felix. Am I correct in thinking that Tradd Moore is not on social media? Is there a way to keep up on his upcoming works and projects?
Felix Lu
11:29
@Rudra...I think he has a tumblr account? But other than that, he's not on social media. I always announce new stuff for him, though.
Vincent

with regards to comics, housing is so expensive in Vancouver, it's all about the condo life these days and I def have a space issue, most of my books are at my parent's place. haha as of now, im very selective on the books i purchase and its mostly HC, TPB or select oversized collections. I do miss the single issues days but its hard to make room for

My condolences, Felix.      Hello to everyone else.
Felix Lu
11:30
Thanks Rob.
Vincent
11:30
Just got an email earlier today ECCC is done for this year. 2021 it is
TomFranck
11:30
Felix:  Read your email about your daughter to my daughter and we talked about how amazing you both are.
Felix Lu
11:31
Thanks Tom...I always thought your relationship with your daughter was/is so cool...something to emulate. Say hi to her for me!
Malvin
11:31
ah, @Michael K, yes, I am in vancouver.  There is another local collector named Michael with a last name that starts with K
Rick Yankosky
11:31
Hey Gang!  Anybody else notice David Choe mention DWJ’s work on Cartoonist Kayfabe?
Felix Lu
11:31
I guess the cat is out of the bag...David is a HUGE fan of our guys. He's a legit comic art nerd, and isn't just a nostalgia fan. He appreciates the incredible young talent working right now. Super-nice guy, too.
Vincent
11:32
Good to know. I just subscribed yesterday. :) Any indication you can give in terms of pricing so I can save up for next year? Thanks!
Felix Lu
11:32
Sorry, still too early to know. Will discuss with Daniel when the time comes.
Brent
11:32
I'm just going to keep my thoughts on Dead Earth #3 to myself...
Felix Lu
11:32
@Brent...How about a thumbs up or a thumbs down for now?
Jason K
11:32
Can't wait for dead earth 3
Ankur
11:32
Wonder if NYCC will happen
Malvin
11:32
I dont think there will be that many cons this year
Pat L
11:32
question for the group - has anyone ever had success "making offers" to winners from HA?
Malvin
11:33
but I do think cons will be back to normal in  a year or two, everything will, once there is a vaccine, future comicartlive won't be as well attended as the first one
John
11:33
Hi Felix, I would like to extend our family's condolences to your family.
Felix Lu
11:33
Thanks John, I appreciate it.
Newell Turner
11:33
@Vincent I saw that e-mail too. I'm kind of bummed because it would have been my first time there. Hopefully next year!
Rick Yankosky
11:33
@newellturner I recently splurged on a 12.9” iPad Pro.  Holy beautiful comic reading, Batman!
Rezwanul Mahmood
11:33
if other artists not represented by you does artwork for books your artists worked on, like variant covers and pinups, what happens to those original artworks? do you get access to them or those artists get to keep them?
Felix Lu
11:33
@Rez...the original art goes back to the artist, regardless of the title. It should, anyway!
Stefanomjr
11:33
@Pat L - no. In fact the folks that had their art up on HA with a "make an offer" didn't realize their art was designated as such
A Kuri
11:34
@Pat L I have tried twice to pry winning bidders away from their prizes on HA, both unsuccessful!
Newell Turner
11:34
lol, nice @Rick, I'll have to look into getting one
Brian Lake
11:34
I signed up for Marvel Unlimited and still do a small pull maybe 5-10 titles a month at the local shop, it helps with space the down side is the 6 month lag the upside is for $100 or so per year I have access to so much of the current a past marvel library something to look into for those that go digital
Mikail
11:34
i will second the iPad pro for reading comics
Pat L
11:34
If anyone is interested, DWJ did a few episodes on this recent podcast - Shot X Shot - which went into some of his influences etc.  Definitely entertaining listening!
Felix Lu
11:36
@Pat L...#1 is probably James Harren. Like for so many other young artists out there. It's crazy how influential James has been for this generation. No one else comes close.
Mikail
11:36
If DE3 doesn't make you stop and say WTF I will eat all the original art!
Felix Lu
11:36
Right?? So good, so DWJ.
Vincent
11:36
Regarding cons, and this is not meant to be political, but it all depends on how US numbers get to before vaccine and after, as some people don't have desire to vaccinate. Conventions are typically close quarters and the con flu is real...I can only imagine how fast COVID will spread.
Steven Ng
11:37
I second the Shot x Shot podcast for the Brian Stelfreeze and Jeff Smith ones. Haven't gotten to DWJ yet.
Brent
11:37
Re: Dead Earth #3.  I want to see how it plays out in #4 before rendering judgment.  Interested readers should give it a shot and form their own opinion.  That said, #3 may prove... divisive.
Felix Lu
11:38
@Brent...I was so surprised DC let DWJ take the story in the direction. Until the book was actually released, I was half-expecting DC to pull the plug on it. But now it's out in the world and can't be taken back!
