Not saying Ben should saddle up for another year — definitely time to go. But to your eye, did he have more left in his arm / legs / body than Peyton did in his final year? I think in the right situation he could’ve succeeded.

I can't speak for Sean Payton, though I'm sure he feels the same way -- Mike Tomlin will not run away because his QB situation is not the same without Ben.

They will have to hire an OLB coach, no matter who becomes the next coordinator. All the candidates appear to have secondary backgrounds.

Hi Gerry - after the success we saw in the playoffs with mobile QB's running offenses, will the Steelers still feel good about trotting Mason Rudolph out there if he wins the job in camp? Or will they look for a mobile QB in the draft/FA to add to the camp competition?

I think you will see them add a QB for sure because they are losing one with Ben. And, more than likely, it will be a guy who can move.

I agree with your draft philosophy - DL 1st and 3rd, OL 2nd.  I might add draft a WR - they are pretty good at that especially if Juju stays to mentor. I also agree with a high end center in FA. Is there enough money to get a solid ILB and CB in FA as well?
