Gerry should steelers consider a  RB like Cris Carson @ $7M to $8m and go into draft and take best available player?
Gerry Dulac
1:39
No, can get a good RB a whole lot cheaper in the draft. That's why it doesn't make sense to sign a RB, other than a backup, in free agency.

Gerry, your honest opinion. Do you think Ben is the reason for playoff failure. Ben 4 TO Baker 0, Ben 2 turnovers, Borttles 0. People like to blame Tomlin but the fact is the last 4 out of 5 playoffs, Ben had been outperformed by 4 of the last 5 Qbs. What's your take?
Gerry Dulac
1:39
No

Gerry why are steelers fans so concerned with bringing back JuJu and Dupree. Thats why we drafted Highsmith and Claypool. I think $ better spent on Oline and CB upgrades. Agree?

Rewatching the Cowboys game, it was putrid to see they couldn't pick up a yard to end game. Pretty clear the OL cannot block in critical situations. I don't think a new RB solves these issues. I'd rather see 2-3 new road graders including Dotson.

Why would you want to be rewatching the Cowboys game, unless it was one of the two Super Bowls?

When Ben and veterans have that day off every week (for Ben it’s Wednesday), do those veterans even go to the facility to practice without wearing their bodies down (like film study, meetings, etc)?
Gerry Dulac
1:40
yes they do, they just don't practice.

If Najee Harris is on the board at 24, are you picking him?

It seems like a lot of fans and writers deem the Steelers cant win the SB with BR - but it seems that most of the time the team that wins isn't necessarily the best team - just the best team in January.  Would never say the Steelers were the best team all season in 2005,   the Giants in either of the past two wins, etc.  Looking at last season - who really would expect a team to win playing without their 2nd and 3rd best LBs, without the best corner, relying on their 4th/5th best LBs who had missed significant time the previous month.

Given our cap situation - do you see Brooks getting more involved this year in the secondary or is he more of a project?
Gerry Dulac
1:42
No.

Do you know if BB has requested any players such as JuJu be back next season? Do you think the Steelers will let JuJu walk or put an effort to re-sign him?
Gerry Dulac
1:42
It doesn't matter what Ben wants. They have never, ever asked him, nor have they ever acquiesced to one of his wishes.

It’s been said a lot that Ben has never been a big commitment guy. He’s competitive no question, but as Bruce Arians said, he’s not big on film study or dedication in the offseason and in practice...that he just wants to play.  Don’t you think the way they give Ben so much freedom
Gerry Dulac
1:43
I think you're making a lot of assumptions based on what Arians said about him not being a big film guy. But he is very dedicated in the offseason and at practice.

Who idea was it to start Feiler and Spillane in the playoffs. Tomlin or position coaches? Feiler to costly early penalties and Spillane for abused.... Why have more been made about those bad decisions?
Gerry Dulac
1:44
Mike Tomlin makes all player decisions.

Before we get all excited about K Rudolph, can he block?
Gerry Dulac
1:44
Better than Ebron.

Hi Gerry, Ben seems to be getting punished because he agreed to restructure to help the team. Do you think this will set a precedent where other players will be reluctant to restructure?
Gerry Dulac
1:46
Let me point something up once again -- when players restructure, it is 99.9 percent of the time to their financial benefit. A restructured deal means more guaranteed money in the form of a signing bonus. Players probably want to restructure, not dread it.

I saw Corey Linsley could be available as a FA center. Though, likely expensive. Do you see it even as a possibility?
Gerry Dulac
1:46
Sure.

Why do you think Mac Jones is rising on draft mocks?
Gerry Dulac
1:46
Not on mine

I like juju, but is he really worth breaking the bank over? You have three receivers, draft one, and go from there
Gerry Dulac
1:46
They will not break the bank for him

Who’s RT next year, 76 or 71?
Gerry Dulac
1:47
Should be Feiler. That's his best position. If they re-sign him, which they should.

We did see Rudolph play several games when ben got injured ...is not a starting QB from what he demonstated that year...what say you....
Gerry Dulac

I say you're wrong.

Hi Gerry, last time coach took a running back in round 1, he chose Rashad Mendenhall, what do you think of coach's track record?
Gerry Dulac
1:49
I liked Lev Bell in round 2

Do you think a trade back could be possible? I think with the kind of depth in this draft, and all the needs, it would COULD be very beneficial.

Maybe
