Gerry, some fans are in favor of keeping Wilson and drafting a developmental QB. However, with the Steelers track record of developing QBs since Ben--Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolf (and yes, I do think he had chances to grab the reins), Landry Jones, Duck Hodges--what evidence is there that a plan like this would work? It would be Wilson or bust, literally

Good morning. I can't believe all the talk about who the Steelers are going to draft. If they don't draft a defensive lineman in the first round and maybe another defensive lineman in round 3 they are not helping I think besides quarterback there biggest weakness they have. Hi Gerry, thanks for your time. Why is there a divide inside the Steelers on who will be the starting QB next season? Isn't there a better chance that Fields might actually be good enough for a longer period of time to lead them to playoff wins if surrounded by better talent ?

I’ve seen some national mocks have the Steelers taking a QB in the first round.  One even has Sanders slipping to the Steelers.  I read national mocks for comic relief.  The only mocks drafts I pay attention to are here.  My guess is that you don’t see the Steelers taking a QB (or a RB) in the first this year?

Good morning, Gerry! Are the Steelers in “win now mode”?  Or are they better suited off for the future on playing a 1st year QB like Jaxson Dart, Ewers or Will Howard and if they go 9-8 then it’s a win with a rookie QB or if they go 4-13 then they pick high in a rich qb draft in 2026?

Hi Gerry. Another QB question. When Daniel Jones had Saquon, a good offensive line and decent wide outs he thrived. He was also good when he didn't have to make a lot of decisions (we all know Tomlin doesn't allow that so that's one box checked). Would putting him in that same type of system give the Steelers Mitch Trubisky or Baker Mayfield?
