Gerry: Rubio was much higher on the depth chart than I would have expected from a 6th round pick widely hailed as a reach.  He was ahead of Lowery and Otomewo.  Has he looked that good or is it just how they are structuring the depth chart?

Not as good as Otomewo. Don't put too much stock in those training-camp depth chart. The coaches don't.

Well, it can be easy to make that argument, but that doesn't mean it's valid. Believe me, I've never met a coach who didn't use the players who gave them the best chance to win

Yes. He was their second overall pick last year. I don't think they are ready to discard him.

A lot of that depends on the guys in front of them, and Harmon and Black appear to be much, much better than last season
