Absolutely Amazing. A dream come true. I was so proud of his endurance, 5 years in between major league appearances... and what a moment! I think the Ripken Brothers were the last to do that. Pretty cool company. Our family was proud.

I can honestly say I get along with all of them. I really try very hard to interact with them and get to know them as people... because they are people. I always thought that was very important. Ted Barret is a favorite, an also John "The Ripper" Tumpane.

My opinion is the length it takes to get to Free Agency. I belonged to the orioles for 12 years before I was able to choose where I wanted to play.
