The obvious answer is turkey, that's a no-brainer.

But I'm a fan of what I call the Voltron --- when you get turkey AND potatoes AND stuffing AND corn onto your fork, combining all four foods into one incredible storm of deliciousness

Is Grandal the “big move” or do the Sox have another one in them?
Mark P
5:05
As others have said, Grandal should be only "step one" for the White Sox since they have so many other clear needs.  It wouldn't make sense for them to make that big spend and then back away from other aggressive moves for pitching or outfield help

Are my questions going through?
Mark P
5:05
Yes!
Jeff
5:05
If the Angels fail to land an Ace in free agency could you see them trying a trade for Kluber? Would they be able to get Kluber without including Adell?
Mark P
5:06
A Kluber deal would be tricky for any team, since you'd be taking a risk that he'd bounce back to his old self after his injury-riddled 2019.  The Indians wouldn't be willing to sell low on Kluber, plus they're also counting on a bounce-back themselves so he can help them contend.

Time for the Astros to Trade  Carlos Correa? Could the Indians be a good landing spot if the Astros add Josh James and Framber Valdez for Francesco Lindor
Mark P
5:08
Lindor is a better player than Correa, but Correa is still quite good and both are controlled through 2021.  Houston is more likely to just stand pat than throw in two controllable starters
Marcus
5:09
What are some possibilities for jason Kipnis
Mark P
5:09
Rebuilding teams, most likely.  The Blue Jays seem like a decent fit, since he can play multiple positions and there are some old Cleveland ties between Kipnis and GM Ross Atkins/president Mark Shapiro

Twins getting Dylan Bundy?
Mark P
5:10
Minnesota would make sense as the mystery team (or teams?) who are apparently working to get Bundy away from the Orioles: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/11/orioles-reportedly-working-to-t...
Marlins
5:12
Do they spend the money off the books for castro prado and Chen?
Mark P
5:12
It's the Marlins, so almost surely the answer is no

Have ya ever been to foreign league game such as kbo and npbl? And if so what was the best and if not would you want to
Mark P
5:14
Back in 2003, I attended a few London Monarchs games during the Canadian Baseball League's one and only season.  So that's the only "foreign league" I've seen live, though going to a game in Japan or South Korea would be a lot of fun

Have seen some Astro fans on Twitter saying they should trade Correa to either revamp the farm system, or get some pitching.  With it looking like Correa will opt for free agency when he is eligible, do you see Luhnow contemplating it?
Mark P
5:16
That Correa/Lindor scenario I noted earlier doesn't make much sense, though a Correa trade altogether isn't out of the question.  Astros would be selling somewhat low since Correa wasn't at his best last year due to injury, and they'd need to then address a hole at shortstop since I doubt they'd want Bregman playing there full-time

Do you think that Pomeranz got too much, too little, or just enough money? Please don’t put it into a poll, I just want on detailed answer.
Mark P
5:18
MLBTR's projection had Pomeranz landing two years and $14MM, so the Padres' reported four-year/$34MM deal blew the doors off expectations.  Frankly, it seems like an overpay based on the small sample size of Pomeranz as a reliever.  As great he was in Milwaukee's pen, it was still just 26 1/3 innings

I’m so confused about the lack of interest in johnathon villar. Ultimately shouldn’t the orioles hold him and pay the $10 mil and trade him during the season when another teams needs change and the money owed is less?
Mark P
5:20
Or, if you absolutely have to release him, do it in the last week of Spring Training so you only have to pay him a fraction of his salary (arbitration salaries aren't guaranteed until Opening Day). At least then you can maybe find a trade partner if a team has its second baseman go down to injury in spring.
Brendon

Greg Garcia or Ian Kinsler starts for San Diego opening day
Mark P
5:21
Neither.  I have to imagine San Diego is looking for second base help.  Villar would be a nice fit for them, in fact
Jeff
5:22
Trade proposal:  Padres send Myers, Xavier Edwards and Cal Quantrill to Giants for Samardzia.  Padres get a veteran starter and $40+ million salary relief.  Giants get an outfielder who hits well at Oracle and two good prospects.
Mark P
5:22
I don't see the Giants adding another questionable big contract to their books when they're within two years of being free of basically all their big salary obligations
Rick Hahn
5:23
Do I extend Robert and have him start in CF opening day?
Mark P
5:23
(Rick Hahn = White Sox GM)

That would fit with Chicago's MO
Just a guy

Do you expect the nl central to be another nail biter or will someone pull ahead in the offsesson?
Mark P
5:25
If could be even more competitive next year if the Reds make their planned improvements

5:25
the Jays were suppose to be in on the Gibson deal, what do you think went wrong there as he was one of their targets?
Mark P
5:27
Maybe Texas offered more money, maybe Gibson preferred to pitch in the AL West, maybe he wanted to pitch for a team that could be closer to contending, maybe he didn't want to move to Canada....could be any number of factors

Why is G. Torres not talked about more as a top SS or even overall talent? Seems like Acuna and Trout get all the love and no one talks about the kid.
Mark P
5:30
Watching the ALCS and ALDS last year, the announcers were talking up Gleyber as a future Hall of Famer, so it's hard to say he isn't getting any hype.

5:32
Does the Cardinals brass think Dylan Carlson is the Ozuna replacement?
Mark P
5:33
Overall, yes, since Carlson will be making his MLB debut sometime in 2020 and he's one of the game's best prospects.  Now, that doesn't mean St. Louis won't be looking for a more proven outfielder this winter, though I'm not sure it would be anyone on a long-term deal
