Julio Teheran has essentially been a league-average pitcher the last few years. If the Braves pick up his $12M option, does he have any trade value?
Connor Byrne
6:33
I think they'd be able to find a taker, though they wouldn't get much back
Joe Girardi
6:34
All this chatter about the Phillies job being mine to lose.   Does that mean me going to the Mets is dead?   Or am I in the middle of a bidding war?   What would Mets fans think if the Wilpons lost me to a division rival?
Connor Byrne
6:34
Mets fans seem to hate the Wilpons anyway. What's one more hit against them?
Ryu
6:34
Am I a Dodger next year?
Connor Byrne
6:34
Doubt it. Dodgers won't be able to offer a QO, which he accepted last year.

Ok, I know I’m a “homer”. That said, the article suggesting the Yankees go after Lindor seems fantasy land for Yankees homers. What package could the Yankees offer that would make sense? Even around Torres doesn’t add up...just puts Cleveland in the same predicament in 2 years.....Tampa bay however...the dodgers and maybe Atlanta all good trade candidates?
Connor Byrne
6:35
The Yankees wouldn't offer Torres for Lindor. Maybe something headlined by Deivi Garcia?
Adam

How many suitors in a trade would Mookie really have? Would that many teams want to give up big prospects for a rental?
Connor Byrne
6:36
I'd recommend reading this from MLBTR's Mark Polishuk: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/10/looking-for-a-match-in-a-mookie...
Ramon
6:37
Any chance that the Chi-Sox land both Castellanos and JD Martinez?
Connor Byrne
6:37
Not crazy, especially if they do the improbable and let Abreu walk
Patrick
6:37
Who do you think the Pirates should trade in the offseason, mainly in the outfield, or anywhere else, to beef up their farm system? And do they just totally rebuild now that Vazquez may not ever pitch again.
Connor Byrne
6:38
They'd be wise to at least trade Marte, especially with the dearth of viable center field options in free agency
Rebuilds
6:38
Who wins more games next year, ChiSox or Padres?
Connor Byrne
6:39
Hmmm. Probably the White Sox, who can feast on the Tigers and Royals
Nats Expos
6:39
Do you see Nationals trying to resign Hudson? How much and how many years do you see him getting?
Connor Byrne
6:39
Yes, probably something in the 2-10 vicinity
Oh? Hi! Mark,
6:39
Does the Royals new owner come in guns blazing and try to make a splash?
Connor Byrne
6:39
I doubt it
Scott
6:40
Who wins AL central next yr?
Connor Byrne
6:40
Boring answer: Twins
Yoenis Cedpedes
6:40
Hi Connor, remember me?
Connor Byrne
6:40
I tend to forget you're still around

Can BVW change his mind about trading Syndergaard without it meaning he was "lying"?
Connor Byrne
6:41
That's fair. Too strong to say "lying." Teams will surely call about Thor. We'll see if any can entice BVW to change his mind.
Rafael Palmeiro
6:42
One year contract from Orioles, yay or nay
Connor Byrne
6:42
I'd rather watch Palmeiro than Chris Davis at this point

Who has had a perfect career (MVP/Rookie Of the Year/all Star Game Apperances/Gold Gloves) that you can think of
Connor Byrne
6:43
Has Trout won any Gold Gloves? That's an award I don't pay much attention to
Shildt
6:43
MadBum to the Cardinals?
Connor Byrne
6:43
Wouldn't stun me, especially if Waino hangs 'em up
Bad Analysts?
6:44
Why are the pundits blaming the Yankees loss on starting pitching when the problem was clearly the .171 avg. with risp and 42 stranded runners. Sure they could use better starters, but that's  not why they lost! Is it?
Connor Byrne
6:44
Their offense definitely cost them big time. I don't think acquiring, say, Stroman would've turned their fortunes around.
Alex Anthopoulos
6:45
How do I get a top tier rotation piece this offseason, and who? You know I dont like free agency.
Connor Byrne
6:45
They're another team I could see in on a guy like Bumgarner, though I wouldn't call him "top tier" at this point. And ATL could be reluctant to go to 4 years, which is what it might take to sign him.
AA = Braves GM, by the way
Eric
6:46
The starting outfield for the Redsox opening day is?
Connor Byrne
6:46
The only one I think is a lock to return is Benintendi. At least one of Betts/JBJ will go, I believe
Joe
6:47
will the Rockies trade Jon Gray ?
