My team spent almost $500m last season and only improved one game.  Those contracts all look horrible now, and the Phillies still have a ton of holes to fill.  The division is brutal, and the farm is not good.  Is there any reason to be optimistic about next season?

Harper was good, Cutch was good until he got hurt, Robertson has been bad/injured. The rest were trade pickups. Realmuto was great, Segura was OK. The Phillies definitely still have a ways to go, but w/ owner John Middleton's spending power, they could double down and go nuts again this offseason. I'll be writing up their offseason outlook soon.
