Very little, but that's just why the Reds won't be super motivated to deal him. He's a useful player given where that teams is at and I think they'll keep him for cheap rotation stability.

I believe I did. It's not a good time to deal him, but certainly he has quite a bit of value. Problem is, contenders aren't going to be quite as willing to unload the farm in order to get him NOW since he's still a bit of an unfinished product. And the Phils have no reason at all to deal him -- he is precisely the kind of high-upside piece they should be trying to get, and are surely excited to have.

I don't know what should be expected, but I think it's time for Cinci to take what it can get.

Yeah, that and a bit more, at least if we're willing to assume that Chapman sets the market. If nobody is willing to bid that high, though, they'll have to take what they can or hold -- which is a perfectly reasonable strategy, too.

Change it up a little what do you think about the playoff format not changing this year again... I belive the wild card game needs to be a 2 out of 3 double header series. Play a double header at the team with better record. If final 3rd game needed, game next day at the other teams field.

I'd be in favor of that, generally, but the question is how badly it would hamper the winning team in the divisional round. Maybe too big a blow to their pitching to make it viable.
