Just really complicates any effort to trade for him.

Dookie Howser gets three questions (if you can call them questions) while I get zero. Thanks.
Jeffrey Todd
3:32
You and hundreds of others. I guess I just happened to like his questions. Sorry.
Ruben
3:32
New to this, what do I need to do to get an answer to a question?
Jeffrey Todd
3:32
Get lucky, mostly.
Grumpster Fire

What would a Jonathan Schoop extention look like?
Jeffrey Todd
3:33
If his Fantex deal goes through, not much reason for him to consider one unless it's way too high a price to make it reasonable for the O's.

What are Clayton Kershaw's chances of returning to LA after his bargain contract expires?
Jeffrey Todd
3:34
If they are willing to spend big to keep Jansen, making him something of an exception to their general approach of late, I can't see why they wouldn't do the same with a franchise icon and the best pitcher in baseball.
Frank

Will SBs ever be cool again.....like he 70s and 80s?
Jeffrey Todd
3:34
Billy Hamilton and Trea Turner are plenty cool. Hope they run more.

Do you think the Yanks' signing of Matt Holliday will have much impact? I don't.
Jeffrey Todd
3:37
He could still turn in a big season. I liked it for the Yankees.
Teffrey Jodd

When can we expect some new blood at MLBTR? Your guys' shtick is beyond stale.
Jeffrey Todd
3:37
I don't doubt it.

Closers.....overvalued?
Jeffrey Todd
3:38
Good relief pitchers are more or less properly valued, I think. The closer thing is mostly dead, though I do think at least some teams give credence to the idea of experience in the role -- or, at least, some established track record of thriving in high-leverage situations.
3:39
Wow, dead heat for Hobbs and the Jet.
Justin
3:39
tbf Benny the Jet sounds like he was just a pinch runner
Jeffrey Todd
3:39
Did Roy Hobbs pickle the beast? No, he did not.
Jimmy

Do the Cubs and Arrietta come to an extension?
Jeffrey Todd
3:39
I guess no.

What's the best baseball book to read before the season begins?
Jeffrey Todd
3:40
Five Seasons, Roger Angell. It has it all.
Erick Aybar

Any idea where I am signing?
Jeffrey Todd

Minor league deal. No idea.

I've asked 8000 baseball questions over the years; and you guys post the one I ask in which I'm criticizing you guys. Awesome. Who is your favorite in the AL and why?
Jeffrey Todd
3:41
Ha. I like the Red Sox and Astros myself. Leaning towards Houston.
3:42
As things stand, of course.
Ozzie Smith
3:42
Don't you miss the days of back flips instead of bat flips?
Jeffrey Todd
3:42
I just like when players are themselves. The Wizard's flips were amazing.
3:43
Okay folks, I'm going to try do hit 2 or 3 more and then wrap this thing up.

Does Jay Bruce to the Blue Jays for Grilli make any sense?
Jeffrey Todd
3:43
Why would they give up Grilli when they could just ...
Jack
3:43
Brandon Moss to the Jays a good fit?
Jeffrey Todd
3:43
Do that.
3:44
Sure, why not? I feel like Moss is going to be a good value for someone.
