If he is still just sort of looking shaky as of the deadline, then no. Reason being that they won't have as  much hope of driving up a real bidding war among teams willing to pay a premium for immediate impact.
But if there's reason to think he's pitching like his past record would suggest he should, the early issues will be forgiven by the market, I'd think.

Looking at the McCutchen trade talk another way due to his performance the last month, if he was approached by Pirates management with the Hunter Pence contract offer, (5yr, $90mm) would that be enough to keep him. Terminate the option for next year.
