I'm confused why despite agreeing to acquire the Stanton contract, the Cardinals are oft mentioned as not a Harper destination "because they never spend that kind of money".  Seems like a weird narrative as results don't always <> process.

Also not sure I'd predict that particular match. It is tough to know how a given team feels about Bryce, but I tend to think it's more likely he'll end up with an org that carries a bigger budget year-in, year-out than the Cards do.
