The team with the better record would have all three games in their home ballpark, but you're right, that's not exactly a huge advantage.

It's not scored as an error, the runner is just there automatically.  If the runner scores, however, the pitcher isn't charged with an earned run.

Fulmer hasn't shown much in either Triple-A or the big leagues, so it's hard to say the White Sox didn't give him enough time to succeed.  A total change of scenery could be a good thing, however, and the Tigers don't lose anything by seeing what Fulmer has

Darvish is still owed a whole lot of money through 2023, that would be a very major investment for any team to make even in a normal season, let alone one with so much economic uncertainty.  I'm not sure he'd have a ton of trade value even if he pitches very well.

Does this new rule really shorten the game all that much? It does make for interesting situations, but I imagine most pitchers and managers really don't like it.

I'm not the first to point this out, but what would shorten games to a far greater extent is the umpires enforcing the rules on the books about guys taking forever to get into the batter's box, or pitchers taking forever between pitches.

Also, cutting 20-30 seconds per commercial break between innings, but that certainly isn't going to happen

Surprised this hasn't come up.  But what is the plan for the Marlins?  Are we just going to test tomorrow and hope for the best.  Test everyone today, cancel tomorrow, dh Wednesday makes sense.  But what if there are 5 more?

They're traveling to Miami in the morning and then going straight to the ballpark.  I have to imagine everyone was tested today in the wake of all the cases, but I don't know what the turn-around would be on the results....it doesn't help if everyone flies home, then the results reveal that more players have COVID-19.

I'm not sure there is a strict plan, really, as the teams and the league are probably trying to figure this out themselves.  Wouldn't be surprised at all if at least one game is canceled or postponed.

I think Springer might be a bigger factor in Correa's future with the team.  If Springer leaves, Houston might decide to keep Correa around as a long-term cornerstone
