David Stearns
6:47
I have to sign a free agent starting pitcher this offseason right? Right?!
Connor Byrne
6:48
Well, Brewers/pres GM David Stearns, I thought your team would be toast without a major SP acquisition at this year's deadline. You got Jordan Lyles (who's been terrific), and are going to the playoffs in all likelihood even without Yelich. So ... who knows.
Kenny WIlliams
6:49
We are going to sign a starting pitcher, besides Ivan Nova this off-season?  Who should I get?
Connor Byrne
6:49
(White Sox exec Kenny Williams) - They're another team that should push for Cole
Ben
6:50
What do you think the Red Sox do about their pitching this off-season?
Connor Byrne
6:52
Bullpen help is a must. Not a ton they can do with their rotation. Sale-Rodriguez-Price-Eovaldi make for a nice foundation on paper for the starting staff. Gotta hope they stay healthy next time.
Kiyo
6:52
Should Grandal be a priority for LAA? They desperately need a catcher along with their pitching needs.
Connor Byrne
6:53
They were in on him last offseason, and they should be again during the upcoming winter. But there's only so much money to go around, and as I said, SP should be the main focus.
Zack Wheeler
6:53
Do I get a QO this offseason?
Connor Byrne
6:53
I'll be shocked if you don't
Fred
6:54
If Wainwright decides not to retire after the season, should the Cards give him another one year deal?
Connor Byrne
6:54
I'm sure the Cards will strongly consider it. Wainwright's still useful, a beloved Card, and obviously re-signing him wouldn't break the bank
Rayland#1
6:56
Bryant for Betts?
Connor Byrne
6:56
Neither the Cubs nor the Red Sox would do this. If you trade either of those guys, you do it to restock your young talent.
Mad Bum
6:57
Should other teams be concerned with my massive home/road splits?
Connor Byrne
6:58
They'll look into it. The low groundball rate might worry teams that play in small parks.
Connor
6:58
Hey Connor. Do u see the rangers signing anyone? Like worthy names?⚾️
Connor Byrne
6:59
Yet another team that'll probably be in on Cole and the other big-name SPs. They also clearly need help in the infield and behind the plate. Rendon's a Texas native, if that matters (it probably won't unless they come with a huge offer, which is possible).
Khrush Davis
7:00
Might the A’s consider trading Khrush after the season?
Connor Byrne
7:00
They can consider it all they want, but who would want Davis on the heels of this season? He has been very bad, and is still owed a lot of money.
John
7:00
Does Puig to the White Sox make sense?
Connor Byrne
7:01
Yes. The outfield's a big problem there, and Puig's one of the best pending FAs in that area.

7:01
Think the Yankees have had as much good luck getting unexpected strong contributions from unexpected sources as they have with injuries.  Would be easier to feel sorry for them if their season was actually derailed
Connor Byrne
7:02
Definitely some luck there, but you've gotta credit them for digging up the Urshelas and Tauchmans of the world
Friedman
7:02
If I go 0-4 in WS, am I cursed? What do I need to do differently?
Connor Byrne
7:04
Didn't Billy Beane once say something like "my sh-- doesn't work in the playoffs"? Like Beane, I'm of the belief all you can do is build the best team possible and hope it breaks your way in October. Friedman has put his teams in position to win it all every year. It just hasn't worked out yet.
The Observer
7:04
2019 National League manager of the year is...?
Connor Byrne
7:05
Craig Counsell? His team has overcome a lot, most of all a season-ending injury to the NL's best player.
Billy Beane
7:05
Am I the most over-rated baseball executive in history?  I think so.
Connor Byrne
7:06
How so? Beane has regularly built low-budget contenders. They've got 94 wins this year.
Nico Hoerner
7:06
What changes do you see the Cubs making?
Connor Byrne
7:07
Not sure just yet, but they're going to be one of the most interesting teams to watch in the offseason.
Yordan Alvarez
7:07
Am I the new Carlos Delgado?
Connor Byrne
7:08
Carlos Delgado had an excellent career that just about anyone would sign up for, so that wouldn't be the worst thing for Alvarez.
Kenley Jansen
7:09
How worried should Dodgers fans be if I get handed the Ball in a 1-Run playoff game?
Connor Byrne
7:09
I'd be pretty nervous. Surprising how shaky he's been.
Rick Hahn
7:10
I’m the GM of the White Sox btw.
Connor Byrne
7:10
Yes, I know. You work with Kenny Williams, whom the other person was posing as.
