Trending yes.

What type of prospect can the Yankees realistically get for betances?
Jeffrey Todd
3:22
Giles deal and then some. But how can they trade a guy like that? It's the Yankees.

3:22
What is the most likely destination for Jonathan Lucroy if you had to guess?
Jeffrey Todd
3:22
Rangers, if pressed.
3:23
Chirinos is coming back and things are going well right now behind the dish, but that may not hold up and he'd be a really nice piece this year and next. Good fit IMO.
And they certainly have the kinds of pieces that MIL would want.

3:23
There may be no QO system next year Jeff.
Jeffrey Todd
3:24
Possible, sure. I hope they can find another way to allocate the value savings for teams, just no reason for it to fall on the shoulders of a few guys. We'll see how creative they get, though, b/c it also seems time for players with less service to get a bump in earning power.

When will the rangers put gallo in the lineup?
Jeffrey Todd
3:25
Wish they would, he's eating a spot on my fantasy bench right now!
Tim Dierkes Dan
3:25
That doesn't answer the question Jeff. I asked if he's coming back. Please don't take offense. Tim is one of my internet media heroes.
Jeffrey Todd
3:25
He's done a few here and there. I'll let him know the fans are clamoring for more.

Not a question, but Jeffrey Todd's chats are the best.
Jeffrey Todd
3:26
Take that, Dierkes.

ETA for Bregman?
Jeffrey Todd
3:27
He's an interesting guy to consider. Polished college hitter, of course. They moved Correa fast. And they could certainly trade Valbuena, or use him at first, etc. Guess Moran gets a bit of a chance first, but who knows? Could imagine him as a September guy, but maybe they'll just roll the dice earlier.

Maybe the metropolitans could explore trading Harvey? That would be pretty interesting
Jeffrey Todd
3:27
Interesting, yes. Likely, no.

Harvey and top prospect for freddie freeman. Who says no?
Jeffrey Todd
3:27
I do!
Seth

Mike Moustakas to the DL with a tear in his ACL, how much does this hurt the Royals?
Jeffrey Todd
3:28
Quite a bit! I haven't thought through it yet, of course, but man ... it's not like they were running off with the division.

Just visited Denver. unbelievable and incredible dont do it Justice. Beers for days plus red rocks and Arapaho National Forrest = breath taking
Jeffrey Todd
3:28
Nice! And you've only scratched the surface. So much more beer and so many more forests and mountains. I truly love it here.

3:29
do you think Fantex has the potential to become a topic of controversy with the MLB?
Jeffrey Todd
3:30
Not sure how the league views it, but I suspect the union is on board. It frees players to seek contractual upside rather than feeling like they need to take team-friendly deals to lock in earnings. Will be very, very interesting to watch -- especially if it starts to work for investors. But it's a long timeline to invest in low-service guys.
And still many questions.
Matt Harvey
3:30
Why am I so bad this year?
Jeffrey Todd
3:30
I could answer this with 100% accuracy, but I'll require a large deposit first.
Dooduh
3:31
ok, I thought there was a good estimate of the super two date already. What was it last year??
Jeffrey Todd
3:32
Don't recall exactly, something like 2.135? That's around the average, but it can be +/- 12 days or so.
Wizardo

If a train leaves Philly at 2:30pm traveling 125MPH and -- ah, the heck with it. When is Ryan Howard getting released?
Jeffrey Todd
3:32
July 17th, if I'm doing the math correctly. But seriously, Klentak gave some comments today that suggest it ain't happening any time soon.
Andy
3:33
Do the Cards and Mets line up currently for a deal with Duda out for extended time and the cards having a plethera of 1B?? Thanks for the chats!
Jeffrey Todd
3:33
It's not the best fit for me, though I considered them in the recent Duda post. Cards may not really want to part with either unless they add to their current team, and neither fits with Duda when he returns. So would Mets give up enough to make it worthwhile? Eh. Still like the Loney idea best.
3:34
If he stinks and Duda is struggling to return, deal with it in late July.

Where do you think Kershaw is in the "best pitcher ever" conversation?
Jeffrey Todd
3:34
On pace to enter it. Just like Trout is w/r/t best position player ever. Still have to maintain the success for a while, though. Kershaw is amazing.

Matt Harvey is having a really nice year, but the Mets are not scoring enough for him. Who should they add to get him some run support
