No it is because you wanted pineapple on it!!

I will be attending training camp in Latrobe and hope to check out some local establishments. Are there any that don't serve alcohol ?
Zeise
12:08
Well there is a McDonalds there I think!

Duquesne should drop back into the Patriot League where maybe they could get to the Dance by winning a weak conference. The portal is the death pill for school like Duquesne?
Zeise
12:09
I don’t know they would win there, either. That’s a much better leagues than you think. They thought they had the right coach but so far it hasn’t paid dividends
Benson DuBois
12:09
Are the Pirates doing right by Roansy Contreras by having him pitch 3-inning spurts in the majors?
Zeise
12:10
Yes I think so I think he is learning without the pressure of being a starter. I would like to see them start to stretch gim
stretch him out

It was rumored 2-3 weeks ago that Brandin Knight was the prime target in Saint Peter's coaching search.  Now I know sometimes a candidate withdraws, and other times another candidate dazzles in an interview, but I haven't heard what happened so that he didn't get the job.  Any insight?
Zeise
12:12
They hired someone I forgot who hit it wasn’t Brandin. And frankly I think he has a better job now than that and can get a better job than that

Paul, I'm sure you agree with me that politics should be left out of sports, yes?  But maybe others have a point when they point out that this is not some trade disagreement here, but actual life and death?  Life is so complicated, to quote The Kinks.....
Zeise
12:15
I am fairly certain there is something very insightful in there but I just can’t figure out what it is?

Paul: the state of Pitt hoops recruiting is going painfully slow. Has Capel and lost its touch?
Zeise
12:16
Did he every really have a touch? I mean he has three guys committed/signed and probably only a few more to finish the class. Yes he transfer recruiting is difficult there he such
12:17
is such a demand for them
TMB
12:17
Think we’ll see #7 honored at a Steeler game this year?
Zeise
12:18
I would hope so. I would hope there would be a day devoted to fans being able to thank him for his years
Col. Flagg

Paul, here's a great idea to put a few bucks in Mr. Nutting's pocket:  Nutting bobblehead night. Guaranteed sell-out attendance.  Plus, a little self-deprecation to appease the masses.  Put this in the suggestion box next time you're in the front office.
Zeise
12:19
Why would anyone want that bobblehead???
Blaze
12:19
Paul, will the pirates make changes to their starting rotation?
Zeise
12:20
I mean, yes but what changes are there to be made? It isn’t like they have all kinds of starters lined up. I guess they could move Contreras into the rotation
12:21
But other than that, what big changes could they make?
Bernard
12:22
Will Nova hoops be able to maintain their level of excellence post Wright?
Zeise
12:22
This is a great question. Dude is a rock star coach and I think that it is going to be hard to maintain what he has done. He is smart getting out relatively young and healthy
J$Money
12:22
GM Paul, what positions do you draft in the first 3 rounds?
Zeise
12:23
OL, OL and WR
PG HR
12:23
Paul, please do not line up any more dates, tee times or any other weird extracurricular activity of yours during your silly little chat, for the last time.  And that Tom in PG dude has a record, I believe. Do some diligence. See you at happy hour.
Zeise
12:24
Ha ha. He has a record? That should make for a much more entertaining round!
His Dudeness
12:24
The top 3 soccer players have salaries of 70-75 million for 2021.  Do you think you could pay your bills on that?
Zeise
12:25
Maybe but I would have to alter my lifestyle a little!
Sherman T. Potter
12:25
Hey, Paul.  Why do sports writers use the word "horiffic' gratuitously?  Ukraine is horiffic, WWI trench were horiffic, Holocaust was horrific, Black Plague was horiffic.  Bad sports play is not "horiffic".  Thx for letting me vent...
Zeise
12:25
It is horrific that so many sportswriters use the word horrific. Just horrific.
Bernard
12:26
Malik Willis stats against legit power 5 teams at Liberty were not great.  What are your thoughts on his potential at the NFL level and how many years would it take for a legit NFL OC to develop him into a strong starter?
Zeise
12:26
His college stats are meaningless to me. If he is developed and brought along properly I think he has a chance to be pretty good
Bernard
12:26
I am a Buckeye alum and two of my kids are as well.  We were shocked and saddened by Haskins' tragic passing.  The young man was so good at OSU, best arm I've ever seen.  Re my question, isn't WR in round one extremely likely given the insane talent in this class and the fact they have to give Trubisky some real weapons if he's to have any chance at success?  I say Olave is the pick.
Zeise
12:28
The thing about taking a receiver first that doesn’t make sense is that there are so many good ones available that you can get them later in the draft
ev
12:28
Soccer players make mega money: the kind that attracts Shakira, Victoria Beckham, etc..
Zeise
12:29
I didn’t realize it was THAT big. I knew they got paid but they got paid in full!!
Jm
12:29
Do you think with Mario no longer owning the team will it be easier to let Malikin and Letang go ?
Zeise
12:30
I think one of the two is gone. I don’t know which, my guess is Malkin, but I doubt both will be back at least not at the price they currently are playing got
