You're just trying to get me in trouble.
I've said before that Hedman is perhaps my favorite player in the league to watch.

Think Corey Perry will rebound after last season? Obviously not rebounding to the 40 goal player but perhaps 25-30 goals with 60-65 points?
Gavin Lee
6:01
Definitely rebound somewhat, but nothing in his game suggests star to me anymore.

R right who gets a new arena first calgary or ottawa in your opinion.
Gavin Lee
6:02
This is a lot of arena questions. Calgary, probably.

Thanks  for your time nice chatting with you gavin

Thank you Joe.

Keep hearing Faulk's name in trade rumors. While I don't want to lose him, do you think that he and a 1st would at least make the Islanders think about moving Tavares?
Gavin Lee
6:02
To be clear, I don't think Faulk has ever really been connected with stuff. Just speculated about because he looks like a fit.
To the second part, no.
It would take much, much more than that.

That Hosea thought brings back terrible memories of the pre-cap era when teams would sign a bunch of vets right before the playoffs to try and get an advantage.

People. Hosea is legit injured, quit thinking it's all a "2nd Gunman" scam and realize the Hawks have good management. Hossa is a huge loss!
Gavin Lee
6:03
I think these go together.
He is definitely injured.
6:04
But, people don't trust Chicago (for whatever reason...)
I have a hard time equating anything anyone is saying to a conspiracy about the assassination of a US President though..
6:05
I'm kidding, obviously.

What do you see as the Devils realistic options to fix the defense?
Gavin Lee
6:05
That's a tough question.
As much as it hurts, Adam Larsson would look good right now wouldn't he?
Eric
6:06
Regardless of their availability (or lack thereof), what do you think is fair trade value for Josh Manson of the Ducks and Jason Zucker of the Wild?
Gavin Lee
6:06
It's hard to answer questions like these. An answer like "first round pick" or "top prospect" is such a wide ranging category.
6:07
They both have substantial value
Enough to be considered among the top available players should they be put on the market.
They'd both have a lot of interested teams after them.

Hossa is a huge loss, how do we replace him?
Gavin Lee
6:08
Saad helps fill that gap, as he's a better even strength player than Panarin.
But you lose offense in that swap.
Sharp could have a bounce back
But you have to hope the younger guys can step up.
Hartman, Schmaltz, Kero

Remember that the Hawks also have DeBrincat coming through, which is a wildcard.
Simba

Thoughts on the blues? I'm pleased with their offseason so far.
Gavin Lee
6:09
Turning Reaves into Kostin is the best move of the summer.
6:10
They're a good team, with a lot of young talent.

How do you see the Wild D situation shaking up? People around the twin cities seem to think the new one way contracts for Reilly and Olofsson mean they should be up here for 82 games next season. The Quincey signing makes me doubt that it's possible for both of them to be here all year.
Gavin Lee
6:11
One way deals by no means give you a guarantee to be with the NHL club.
Reilly is still waiver exempt, he might be riding the bus back and forth a lot
