Next years draft seems to be all about lafreniere and byfield but who is next that can be a good to great player other than those two?

There are actually lots of players that are really interesting, I'm excited about this draft.

Alexander Holtz and Lucas Raymond are two extremely talented Swedish forwards that will push for the top 5.
Jamie Drysdale is a potential top pairing defenseman
Tim Stutzle is a German forward that is just SOARING up draft boards and might be in the running for #2 by the end of things.

I'm not sure if he'll ever really be a center for the Canes (though I think he can be), but there is first-line potential in there.
At the very worst, I think he'll be a core piece of that team for a long time.

Who do you think most wants Askarov as of now? I would have to think WPG/LA/EDM based on their goalie situation. Do you think someone (presumably a WPG/EDM/etc) trades up for him given his upside, or if LA gets another 5th/6th/7th pick do they take him?

I don't think that's entirely the reason they made the Faulk trade (and if it is, that's sort of a foolish thing to do).
But I don't know if they'll be able to sign him.
