He says no.

do you see pgh going after the wide receiver from san diego (tyrell williams)?  what about justin houston or other guys that are victims of high salaries?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:31
No Tyrell Williams will make too much dough.

12:32
What about Mack Wilson (AL) as ILB?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:32
He's a second-round pick at best, and he's not what the Steelers need. I'm not convinced Wilson will be a three-down ILB in the NFL. He might just be another Vince Williams, and you don't need that.

Hi Ray. Would you agree that Art started the trade value of Brown to slide, by saying he didn't see Brown in the team. I'm not excluding Brown for being childish, but it seems like a soon as that was said, other Gm's started to lick their chops.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:33
What was he supposed to say? He quit on the team. You don't quit with a playoff berth on the line and come back. You just don't.
Dan Bartoli
12:33
Do you hear anything about resigning Xavier Grimble?  With James likely to leave, it would seem he should be resigned.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:33
They tendered him.
Steelers Fanatic
12:34
Any chance if ilbs are gone in round 1, they consider a Noah Fant. Lining up him and VMac together could be fun.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:34
I suppose if you believe Fant can be your No. 3 WR in addition to a regular TE. It's possible they feel that strongly about a TE. I just don't think it's a strong possibility.

12:35
I don't see anyway that AB doesn't lose his mind at some point this season with Carr at QB. Agree?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:35
He lost his mind when he was catching 100 balls and gaining 1,500 yards. What do you think it going to happen when he catches 70 balls for 890 yards? Hide the Gatorade coolers.

12:36
Hi Ray, sometimes you get addition by subtraction, which hopefully works for the Steelers this season.  Brown needed to go no matter what, and now he will be the Raiders problem.  Bell also will be gone.  This is a chance for the Steelers to focus on football moving forward and not all of the drama.  That being said, do you think there will truly be less drama this season or will something else come up?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:36
There better be. Otherwise the head coach will be in trouble.
Danner
12:37
How does Ben proceed through the AB debacle unscathed? How will losing arguably both the best RB  and WR in the league benefit us moving forward in pursuing a Lombardi? It seems we’re betting the farm on an aging boorish QB who at most has 2 years left for 2 generational talents in their prime. How does the fanbase maintain hope for the new ear of this franchise?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:38
Ben deserves some blame in this, but not nearly the mud slinging that's going on in the national media. Again, Brown QUIT on the team.
Ryno
12:38
I have not see this question addressed anywhere yet. Any idea why Brown was not arrested in the incident where he was throwing furniture off the balcony? He could have killed people! I can't understand why he wasn't arrested for that.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:39
I'm guessing there was not video evidence. If there was he'd be in jail. Maybe some video will surface on Thursday. Ha ha.

12:39
are the steelers spending too much on their offensive line? those guys are good, but seems like there are a few positions there where you could plug in less expensive players
Ray Fittipaldo
12:40
I like the Pouncey extension. I still think he's a good player. I have absolutely no idea why they brought Ramon Foster back. None. It's a head-scratcher. And they're paying him $8.25 million the next two years to boot. Let me be on record now saying that was a bad signing.
TJ
12:40
Hi Ray - I now feel as this AB situation was entirely a Money Grab and issues were self fabricated by AB himself. It's Sickening. Am I wrong?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:40
I don't think you're wrong.
Shaun
12:40
If Greedy and Murphy are both there at 20, who you taking?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:42
And the ILBs are gone too? I guess Greedy because he has the highest ceiling. Murphy is good, but he's 5-11 and runs a 4.55. I don't think the value is there if you take him at 20. Same goes for Baker. Bigger risk for sure with Greedy, but I think you roll the dice there and hope Tom Bradley and Teryl Austin can get the most out of him.
Tom
12:43
Think anyone in the Steelers know that the Ravens are going to trade above them to replace Mosely?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:43
That's one of the reasons the Steelers could move up too. The Ravens would have to move up two more spots than the Steelers.
Zach B
12:43
You move up for White and White only! Bush will probably be there at 20. Yes, he performed well at combine but his production on the field (80 tackles only) does not warrant more than pick 20
Ray Fittipaldo
12:44
You might be right. But what do you do if he does go before 20 and that's the guy you really coveted?
Wayward
12:45
How far up in the draft could the Steelers get combining their 20 and the 3rd they just got from the Raiders?  Does it potentially get them in White range?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:45
There is a chart for this. I don't have it handy. But I'm guessing No. 20 and No. 66 could get you up five or six spots maybe a little more.

12:46
Ray, the Killer B's....did just that...killed our team!  With so many glaring needs on the defense do you think Colbert uses the picks in the AB trade to move up into the 2nd round for a corner or do they use their first round on a corner and a second round on a WR....
Ray Fittipaldo
12:46
First round ILB or CB. Second round CB or WR. Third round WR or TE or DL or S.

12:46
Are we counting the days until JuJu does the same thing as Brown?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:47
JuJu certainly has the social media branding thing going on, but I don;t think he's a genuinely bad person the way AB was a genuinely bad person.
STEEL72
12:47
Thanks for the answer, Ray. Don't you think we need to move up to get White? It's the spot we have targeted as a reason for our crumbling on defense. Isn't that worth whatever it may take? If Colbert and Co. do what they usually do, we'll get better at a couple other positions, but will be left suffering through the glaring need for sideline to sideline LB. Is it possible they sign Jordan Hicks and remove the need to move up?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:48
You say whatever it takes, but you can;t give away a lot of early picks to make it happen. There are other holes to fill.
Steeler Dan
12:48
Ray, are you hearing about the Steelers talking to anyone during the legal tampering period?  Golden Tate perhaps?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:48
Golden tate was making overtures to the Steelers on Twitter, but I think he might be too expensive.
Daniel
12:49
Ray, do you see any possibility of either Devin White, Devin Bush, or Metcalf being available at #20?
